I just wanna warn anybody coming here that they are rude and only care about the money and not actually doing a decent job. I have gone to this salon a few times and every single time it’s horrible. The top coat always comes out extremely yellow the first 3 days after. The acrylic is never laid right, never smooth or buffed at the cuticle. For the first time I was yelled at by a worker
(Ben) because I voiced I wasn’t happy with my index finger. To be charged 55 just for wanting straight tips and then it couldn’t even be applied correctly. Everything I asked for was told no, and he tried getting me to pay more for ombré. I was extremely polite and was going to just accept the nail and move on, I decided I’ll just paint them at home because I just felt I could do a better job (and that says a lot lol). I let him know I would just pay for what he did and that I’ll be leaving. He flipped out and just started questioning me for everything and said it was my fault that I am responsible for saying I didn’t like it. He even looked disappointed in the nail himself and he was ok with letting me walk out like that. That’s why I left not over the nail but how he treated me when I told him I was upset. And I still paid $40 for a not even finished set. Now barely a week later they are all popping off like flies. One even came off while I was cleaning in my gloves. (I wear gloves as an extra protection for my nails). I look funny with a whole bunch of nails that are gone. Today I called to ask if I can’t just get them removed for no charge because I feel like Im owed that. I got told no because I didn’t go back within 3 days. I’m so disappointed that I’m just going to learn how to do my own fresh sets now. This salon really left a memory and lost a customer. Ik I’m just one customer but it matters in the long run. Hope nobody experiences this and I’ll be booking clients ????
They are the best. I love that they smile at everyone. Customer service is on point! They have reasonable prices. Anna has always done my feet from the very first time I came to this salon. She is the best! If you’re looking for a home salon, I highly recommend this place!
I showed the lady a picture, she said she could do it, it was relatively simple, she gets to the end to do the accent nail and then tells me she doesn’t have the chunky glitter. If she would have told me ahead of time I could have picked something else. The lady who did my pedicure did a decent enough job except she didn’t even touch my cuticles or ingrown nails.
The customer service is fantastic! However the manager Anna is rude! We had paid for our pedicures and she followed us out I'shouting and asked if we paid,and we did! We went back inside and the clerk assured Anna that we paid, she did not apologize. and that was sad. So Anna is an unhappy person and obviously cannot accept critical feedback, we weren't going to come back and allow her to abuse us anymore! Goodbye Anna, I pray for you that you get help!
I’m completely appalled by the service I received. Pedicure and manicured was rushed and painful! The nail tech kept hitting my skin with the nail grinder. She was hurting my hands and feet and got nail residue all over my pants and shoes. When I tried to complained, my complaints were invalidated from the supervisor. Overall experience: rushed, painful, and sloppy. Not worth the visit.
I don't normally get my nails done but decided to splurge for a pedicure and I'm so glad I did. I've been to Totally Nails before and the service is still stellar! Diane was a sweetie, she took excellent care of me and did a beautiful job on my toes. The price was great for a Relaxing Pedicure I, just an additional $5 for french manicure. I'll definitely be going back.
If I could give them less than a star I would this was the worst experience I have ever had here and I've been here several times. The person who waited on me her name was Lynn and she was so rough and cut several of my toes and I was bleeding and she never said she was sorry and I kept asking her to please go easy You don't have to hurt me You don't have to cut me and she just ignored me it was a horrible experience Don't go there don't let her touch you and I will be reporting this to the department of health she shouldn't be allowed to touch anybody. Then when she was finally done she goes and puts my foot into my shoe and scrapes all the nails against my shoe which now has nail polish we're all over him and had to redo the foot and that was the foot where she cut a few of my toes Don't go here!
If I could give this review a -star I would and here’s why (this review comes from the perspective of an African American Woman):
1. The nail tech was lazy- he did not clean or trim my natural nails before adding the artificial nail which means if for any reason moisture gets under my nails (washing hands, sweating, cooking, exc.) having dirt under my natural nails will increase the risk of fungi growing under the acrylic nail. Basic.
2. Staff was very rude-As Im sitting with the nail tech, a member of the staff walks up to the table and starts speaking in a far off language, gesturing and pointing at me and my hands. When I looked at her, In total dismay, she refused to even acknowledge my presents. I felt very disrespected. It was as if she was trying to assert herself over me or downplay my value as a customer.
3. I was over charged-In total I got a full set(short) with jell polish, and a standard pedicure with a jell French-tip. In total it came out to $107.
4. My manicure is subpar-Ive attached photos for reference. In closing, Even though this salon is in a good location and the facility is large and pretty, it is not worth it. I will not advise anyone to go to Totally Nails of Redlands, Ca and I most definitely will spend my money somewhere else.
