I've been living in Washington my entire life and have tried out my fair share of two block haircuts, middle parts, and tight perms. What I've noticed in the past decade is that modern Asian hairstyles have become in-fashion, yet finding people with the expertise to cut them is difficult.
Jay was the first to cut my hair and I was impressed beyond imagination. He was able to modernize and improve upon a picture of a wavy undercut hairstyle I showed him with a cut and digital perm. I can say this is the highest quality, most talented hair studio I've ever been to!
All of the staff members are not only talented, but they're also kind, enthusiastic, and respectful. They're just as serious about making my hair look good as I am myself. As mentioned in previous reviews, there is a slight language barrier but I didn't run into any problems with communication. Just as with any hair studio, it'll be a more satisfying experience for you if you go in knowing generally what you want while communicating your preferences throughout the process. Reference photos are key. Any idea you have, the staff here have the experience, vision, and expertise to pull it off.
Excellent haircut. There is a language barrier, which I could see others bringing the reviews down. The stylist was also trying to convince me to do a perm like the review said. After I showed pictures and was firm that I did not want a perm, the stylist delivered a great haircut. He is very skilled and payed close attention to the details. He layered well and watched the cowlicks that are typical with Asian male hair. Would recommend! Top hair, if you see this please leave the stylists name below, I’m forgetting his name.

Great for asian style haircuts, including for us Asian guys. Jay is my personal favorite. Most speak Chinese primarily but all speak English to varying degrees . I took Jay's advice on a change of style and I love it!
千万别来这家，理发店有这么多别被坑了。首先店里没有明码标价，不知道价位多少。其次我以前在别的店剪头从来不会痛，在这家店用推子给我推的痛死。剪完头托尼说痛是因为头皮太干，叫我做头皮护理。在这过程中一直没说价格，我被忽悠了做了。小费只有15%这一档，本来都不想给的，但是没办法。最后价格加上小费是130刀，小票上只写了hair cut 130，也没有写剪头是多少，护理是多少。一点都不正规，感觉他们说什么价格就是什么。这家店没人去，评分这么低是有原因的，建议朋友们去之前先看看评价，不要被坑了。

The Stylist here (Jay) is professional and gave a good haircut, while other staff are not.
After the wash, one of the staff said "You are all good" while leaving my hair half wet and in a mess. It looked like he was trying to make me leave as soon as possible.
I didn't feel like giving any tips. But the lowest level of tipping was 15%, and this guy was staring at the screen while I was choosing tips.
I asked for the receipt, but there is no information of tips on it, only showing 'total $45.00'.
Jay has more than ten years of expertise in this field and is a professional stylist. Highly recommend!
