Friday fish and chips. Ordered delivery. It came quickly. The chips were still hot and emitting steam when I opened the container but they were very greasy with zero crispiness. The potato was cooked on the inside but I wasn’t impressed with them. The fish was slightly greasy. I’m not sure what it was. Slight crispiness on the skin but the fish itself was a bit soggy and not great in quality. It wasn’t terrible but again I was slightly disappointed. Peas were okay, again not bad but not great. The curry English and Chinese curry sauce did enough to make it more edible. All in all it’s a 2.5/5 for me.
Great Cod and chips... unfortunately, no Haddock but I was not disappointed. Really enjoyed my meal. Excellent customer service and efficient, friendly crew. Highly recommend. I'll be back as Arnie once said!
Great chippy. All fish cooked to order. Always busy. Love being able to order via phone gor a timed pick up.
I'm not a regular user of chippies these days because I have to watch my waistline but now and again I do get the urge to have a right good chippy dinner and where else is better to tantalise my taste buds than Tommy's.
If driving 6 miles isn't enough to show how good it is what is. On my latest trip I indulged in a great (superb) portion of chips with cheese and onion pie smothered in that gorgeous Irish curry. Chips cooked to perfection, good portion and all piping hot. Well satisfied only one problem though I felt to full to get up on that roof I was working on, thank god its peeing down.
Great chippy for workers, seems to shut quite early in the evening but for lunch you can't go wrong.
Tommy’s fish and chips is spectacular food..as traditional as you get value for money friendly staff can even eat in if you like would highly recommend this food outlet… thanks guys for the amazing customer service and food A⭐️
Used to be great but since started doing deliveries food is rushed. 50 percent of the time the chips aren’t cooked and still hard in the middle. Shame
