I had an appointment for 1pm, they weren’t busy when I came in so I was taken back right away. The man who did my nails took his time shaping and making sure they were the length and nail shape that I wanted. I only noticed a problem when he started painting. He asked me what kind of glitter polish I wanted and had me pick between a topper and a base glitter polish. I chose the chunkier base glitter polish, assuming that he would begin to paint my nails the way I asked. He painted the whole nail instead and then did the white V shape afterwards. Not the design I asked for AT ALL but by the end of the appointment I wasn’t mad and accepted what I was given. (The first photo is an example of what I wanted, second photo is my actual nail design) I’m not upset anymore, as this simple design has begun to grow on me, but a good manicurist would ask for the example photo multiple times to please the customer, he didn’t.
I used to be a regular here and spent quite a bit of $ getting biweekly mani, pedi, and full waxing services. But I tired of their not honoring their appointment time slots.
Even after making appointments in the past, your time slot is rarely able to be honored leading to extraordinary wait times. Because of this, I stopped making appointments here and instead tried to be a walk-in.
Although it states on the door, “walk-ins welcome”. This is not true.
I have tried all times of day and days of the week to have a walk-in appointment. Most recently at 9:30AM when they open. This has gone on for over year and they can never “fit me in”.
The service itself is fine when you can get in. But it’s NOT so good that it’s worth the time energy or hassle trying to make an appointment or trying to walk in for service.
The most important thing a business can do is honor their commitment to timely service.
It seems it would be helpful for these folks to hire more people.
Had an appointment for 2 weeks ahead.with a friend. Lady got my pedicure started when a lady walked up and asked her to do her service right now even though she didn't have an appointment. The lady walked away left me sitting with my feet in water for 15 minutes while she went to another room and did the other girl!
I was upset this last visit and will not go back. There was a used bandaid at the work desk I was at. The gentleman picked it up with bare hands and discarded it. Then proceeded to work on me without washing hands. I never see them wash their hands. They use dirty/used utensils. I've never seen anything new. They talk on the phone and text during service. Also the gentleman belittled me when I was there acting like I was dumb while choosing a color. I can't remember when I went last but haven't and will not go back. The end product is usually good unsanitary and unprofessional. All about the money.
Not sure if they ladies name that did my pedicure. But she did a great job !! A little rough with me with my fibromyalgia but my feet look and feel great ! Great prices for Gel
I've been here a handful of times and LOVE IT. You can walk in or set an appt. I like funky designs off Pintrest and the nail techs always deliver! The salon is super clean and I observed sanitizing taking place after each client. I am in LOVE with my Pintrest inspired Halloween nails! Reasonable prices, awesome service.
Last sch appt had to walk out after still not seen 45 min wait. Time b4 my appt interrupted by guy who could not get to his appt on time so I had to sit and wait. Extremely hurtful and rude. Not sure I can handle going back.
3.5 star for sure. Really a GREAT detailed pedicure! I will be back.
The only things keeping them from 5 stars are:
1. Not very welcoming unless you're a regular which was very evident being a first timer watching how I was pretty much ignored unlike others they knew the names of.
2. They can only do very basic nail designs on pedicures.
3. They made me wait 20 mins after my apt time before they started.
