Angenehme Atmosphäre, gute Bedienung, essen gut: Chicken in indischer Sauce sehr zu empfehlen, Salat und Gemüse... wie meistens in England ;-) ...

Nicht berühmt. Die Restaurants in der Umgebung sind besser. Doch das kann an dem Übergang im Eigentümerwechsel liegen. Give it a try next time.

Stopped by for a pint and cream tea. Top notch cream tea. Lovely pub attached to the hotel with plenty of big tables for groups - think ours was an old chemistry class room table.. Get the feeling the food would be good here, although can't vouch for it.

Fair prices and portion sizes, unlike a lot of other local eateries. Nice log burner, good burgers and dog friendly! Lots of parking and perfect location for a moorland walk. Not much to dislike considering current country's climate...

Nice food. Plenty of tables. The staff were all polite and courteous. Would recommend for a fancy dinner or a meal after being in the wilderness. They have room for both.

Disappointing evening meal. Lovely ambience but the nut roast tasted like it had been re-heated, roast potatoes were hard, chalky and tasteless, Brussels sprouts were watery and hard. Felt quite icky afterwards and £70 lighter. Great flat white so perhaps just go for drinks and snacks in future!

Great food, great prices, staff extremely helpful with brilliant service, very clean environment. Visited again for a birthday meal, wow, food and service was amazing. You really need to try this place ????

Thursday 11ish 3 of us went to the bar to order coffee & cake was told to find table number and come to bar to order, went to bar then were told to go back to table where she would take the order, definitely felt I was an inconvenience, have stayed here for 3 nights before would I recommend now probably not.
