Love this old Town pub. Always a warm welcome, sadly now being affected with today's problems, lack of customers

Wonderful bar staff. Warm welcome, great conversations, they make you feel like you are part of the family. Traditional little pub takes you back to the days when pubs were the heart of the community.

This pub is horrible! I got spiked in there a month or so back and I seen today that someone also did Saturday just gone; they worry about there bacci but not there customers!!!! ????????????????

no security whatsoever, fights all the time. Someone i know got spiked here once. Please Avoid, go somewhere else.

DON'T GO HERE!!!!!

Unless you want to get caught up in a massive brawl every Saturday night. Popped in for one drink... a fight broke out next to us. After a few minutes it dissolved but we drank up and decided to leave. Stood outside and another one kicked off in the doorway and out into the road. No exaggeration when I say there were at least 20+ men and women involved. Men attacking women too, being thrown on the road, heard glass being broken, screaming, saw a head being stamped on... obviously we were trying our best to get away from it all as soon as we could but for a while our best move was to stay still and way back.

There were women being sick to the side of the pub and in a heap on the floor. Some outside the front in the same situation.. men taking a pee on the side/front of the surrounding buildings.

We went to spoons just up the road so we were away from it but had to come back to get to the taxi rank and drive through them. By this time, there were police cars, 2 riot Vans, 2 police dogs and it was still going... not going near this place again. Was told someone got stabbed with a screwdriver in there last week..... think this sums up every weekend here from what I can tell. Just can't believe how bad it was.

Only had the one drink here but nice little pub if asked then yes I would go again
