Carvery was amazing, (home cooked) lovely and friendly staff and a great atmosphere in the pub.

A good night listening to a really good band, 'Sceptre', and great service.

Good location, could do with a refresh. Perhaps some good food service

this place is the best place to be for a homely sunday roast any day of the week would highly recommend calling into this place friendly staff nice welcoming smile on entrance

Thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Great beer, service and customers friendly. Live music on Sunday afternoons. Saw a fine band called the Dancers who come from Shields. Great show and tremendous playing. The audience loved it and made a great atmosphere.

Ages since I was last in here and it will be a lot longer, terrible atmosphere even worse drink and well overpriced.

Three stars is too much but it deserves more than a two. Usual beer choice, haven't had a meal but looks like standard meat and boiled veg. Good sun trap out front.
