Me & my work colleagues have made this our regular dwelling for a drink & a meal after work. Can't help but heap praise on this pub! Not only is the food & drink a very competitive price but of the best quality too. The chef informed us that the menu is changing soon. Not that we need any encouragement to return! Fabulous!!

Beautiful Sunday lunch. Choice between 4 meats or all 4 meats was a nice touch. Service absolutely faultless. Wish I'd spotted this little gem sooner. Overall 9.5 out of 10. That extra .5 point is only because the gravy wasn't as thick as id like it to be but still very tasty! Well done to all the staff for their brilliant service. X
Asked on-line if the Rugby ???? ???? was on & if dogs were allowed.
Quick reply was, yes to both, but we should book, as very busy Sunday lunch time.

The hospitality from the two guys, was brilliant, really looked after us all & dogo????. Would recommend for food, drink and overall friendliness.
I visited a couple of days ago and I was amazed with this place, great environment, people was very friendly and owner, I believe he was, approach us a couple of times to see how was everything. We started with some Chilli Nachos, my 4 years old really enjoyed his chicken nuggets, very nice proper moist chicken breast, I got to assamble my own home made burger with a side of their "Filthy Fries", please try them, my wife had the "Hunters Chicken", she thought it was very nice, a bit too much barbecue sauce for her like though. Everything was delicious, this place is very serious about size and taste, must visit!...
We have passed this pub many times but never ventured in until we read reviews on TA last night and have to say we wasn’t disappointed today a good menu offering traditional food and Mexican Korean sandwiches something for everyone we was met with a cheery smile from the barmaid who took our drinks order whilst we chose our food we both went for beef casserole which was plentiful and freshly cooked while we waited reasonably priced a traditional pub friendly staff pleasant atmosphere would definitely come back
Fantastic lunch today. Food is excellent, the chef is a genius. Very friendly staff and great choice of food - beer good too.
Lovely staff & friendly atmosphere. Food tasty & more adventous than the normal pub grub all homemade & cooked to a high quality. Only reason for 4 stars is the beer garden is in desperate need of a revamp & clear up.
