Zatrzymaliśmy się przez przypadek. Nie żałuję.
Bardzo miła obsługa!
Kawa zrobiona z sercem, ciasto świeże i pyszne.
Jeśli tutaj przychodzisz musisz mieć gotówkę.
Dziękuję! Pozdrawiam!
Such lovely staff. Good and reasonable coffees and teas and couldn’t be more amenable. We went with a 4 year old and the gentlemen said that he’d make sure his hot chocolate wasn’t too hot for him, and it was the perfect temperature for him to drink! It’s the little things like this that make you want to go back. The cakes looked AMAZING but we didn’t have any. Will definitely be going back.
The food is, like the interior a little basic, but pleasant. The current owners accept cash only, which is a bit of a blow as most prefer to pay by card. The menu is again adequate and fairly reasonable, the cafe love dogs so no problem for doggie owners.
Great little place for a quick bacon butty before a walk along the shore. Nothing fancy but clean and warm with a great view. Tea is served in large teapots and everything about the place is old fashioned and quirky in a good way. Definitely worth calling but cash only when we went.
I go here with my grandma and brothers occasionally and have never been let down by the quality of the food! I tend to opt for a cup of tea/fanta, a sausage bun and chips It’s tasty and at a good price. Would recommend!
It's a small single storey building looking out over Morecambe bay devoted to feeding hungry walkers, hungry drivers or anyone passing. Traditional café food, quick service, CASH ONLY, Fortunately there a cash machine at the petrol garage half a mile down the road. Great bacon barms (other fillings available), and mugs of steaming hot tea (other beverages available). Parking in front on the handy Shore Car Park.
Good quality sandwiches. Service time was reasonable. Excellent views across the bay.
Visited on a recent trip to Morecambe. Small cafe located beside a public walkway, between sea and railway tracks. Probably avoid it if we returned to Morecambe area in the future.

Quick Facts About The Shore Cafe

The Shore Cafe has several strengths that make it a popular place to visit. One of the most mentioned strengths in the comments is the friendly and pleasant staff. Customers appreciate the warm and welcoming service they receive, making them feel comfortable and valued. The staff also go above and beyond to accommodate specific requests, such as ensuring that a hot chocolate is at the perfect temperature for a child to drink. This personal touch adds to the positive experience and makes customers want to return.
Another strength of The Shore Cafe is the quality of the coffees and teas. Customers mention that the drinks are good and reasonable, indicating that the cafe takes pride in serving high-quality beverages. The staff are also praised for making the coffee with heart, suggesting that they take care and put effort into their craft. The presence of a large teapot for serving tea is also appreciated, as it adds to the traditional and old-fashioned ambiance of the place.
The cafe is also commended for its selection of cakes, which are described as amazing. Despite not being able to try them, customers express their interest in returning to sample the cakes. This indicates that the cakes are a draw and likely a strength of the cafe, as customers seem eager to try them.
The location of The Shore Cafe is also mentioned as a positive aspect. Customers highlight the great view of Morecambe Bay from the cafe, adding to the overall experience. The cafe being situated beside a public walkway and near the sea and railway tracks also seems to add to its charm. The fact that it is a small single-storey building is also seen as a positive, likely contributing to the cozy and intimate feel of the place.
Despite these strengths, there are a few weaknesses that are mentioned in the comments. One of the significant weaknesses is the cafe's cash-only policy. Customers mention that this can be inconvenient, as most people prefer to pay by card. The need for cash can be a barrier for some customers, especially those who may not have immediate access to an ATM. However, it is noted that there is a cash machine at a nearby petrol garage, which helps mitigate this issue to some extent.
Another weakness mentioned is the basic nature of the food and interior. While the food is described as pleasant and the menu is deemed adequate and reasonable, it is also acknowledged that it is not fancy. This may limit the appeal of the cafe to those looking for a more sophisticated or gourmet dining experience. Similarly, the basic interior may not appeal to customers seeking a more upscale or trendy atmosphere.
Lastly, one customer mentions that they would probably avoid visiting the cafe again if they returned to the Morecambe area in the future. While the specific reasons are not given, it suggests that there may be some aspects of the cafe that do not meet their expectations or preferences.
In conclusion, The Shore Cafe has several strengths that make it a popular place to visit. The friendly staff, good and reasonable drinks, amazing cakes, great view, and cozy atmosphere contribute to a positive experience for customers. However, the cash-only policy, basic food and interior, and a comment about potential avoidance suggest some weaknesses that may limit its appeal to certain customers. Overall, though, The Shore Cafe seems to have more strengths than weaknesses, making it a worthwhile place to visit for those looking for a pleasant and welcoming cafe experience.
