We arrived for afternoon tea with various mobility and dietary needs, and had a splendid experience. The spread was wonderful and far too generous but we managed to devour each delicious mouthful. Great service by staff. Thank you for making it a lovely afternoon

Stayed here for two nights. I have to say the service was excellent. Breakfast was included as part of the fee and this was also excellent. The location of the hotel is great, only a few minute walk into the town and plenty of tourist attractions within a short drive. Only cons is the decor is slightly dated. Rooms were perfectly clean, could just do with a lick of paint. Would recommend and return again very happily.

I imagine this was THE place to be 100 years ago. Today it's a bit shabby. Room was a bit unloved and food was on the low side of average. Great croquet pitches though, if you're into that thing! With a bit of investment this place could be outstanding. It is actually a beautiful building and the adjoining bar is a cozy place for an evening beer.

Friendly staff, excellent service. Stayed one night. Room was a good size but very warm. Comfy bed, clean bathroom, lovely breakfast. Short walk to town. Lovely gardens and next to a park.

This hotel is lovely, the staff are really friendly and helpful. Food and drink is wonderful. Our room and bathroom was big, airy and spacious for 5 of us. The price for B&B was excellent value. The outside and some parts of the inside need a revamp.

Probably good in its day!

We stayed here for one night for a local wedding. It was clean and nice enough. The staff were friendly but you can tell the hotel has been around for a while and could probably do with a big refurb.

Breakfast was served in a grand room where there's probably been a load of functions, dances, balls etc. but it looks a bit tired. There were remnants of the Christmas decorations where you could see where they'd been taken down 9 months earlier. Just missing that luxury or attention to detail bit then you would need to invest a lot of money but if you did it could be a really luxurious place.

It's fine for the money just a shame it could be better.

Large clean rooms.beautiful cosy areas to sit and chill with coal fires.

Bar and bar meals very nice.good portions and decent prices.

Albergo storico ben ubicato a pochi passi dal centro di Ripon

Come tutte le cose di altra epoca ha i suoi pro e i suoi contro. La calda atmosfera di altri tempi compete con la scricchiolio del pavimento ; la sala col camino con la scomodità del doppio rubinetto; l'ampiezza delle stanze con gli armadi che non stanno chiusi.

Il giardino è meraviglioso, ben curato e collegato al parco pubblico.
