Really lovely attentive staff, nice atmosphere throughout the restaurant. The food was amazing, which came to our table in no time at all, it was surprisingly great value too! We both had the Souvlaki chicken wrap with tzatziki with a side of delicious halloumi fries which I would definitely recommend to anyone. They were coated in a lovely glaze of lemon and thyme infused honey. Will definitely be coming back to venture through more of the menu!
Food was tasty and fresh. It was pretty busy so the atmosphere was good and everything was reasonably priced.
However, I think many of the waiting staff were very confused as to which were their tables. Us and other tables around got served and then another server wanting to take our orders (happened to us and all the other tables). Our wait wasn't long but other tables around waited a while with servers keeping coming up saying it won't be long making their wait feel longer.
Better communication between staff is needed to make it a better place.
We really enjoyed our first visit here. We are big fans of Greek food and meze and this didn’t disappoint. Really good choice on the menu to choose from. We chose a set menu to save time and reduce the choice down. Good draft beers available. Price wise was about on point for restaurants. Well worth a visit.
Great service. Food food value. Aubergine dip wasn't the best I tasted..The pouyatsa was delicious but the paklava just didn't have much flavour.
Lovely food and lovely experience, really helpful staff, and great prices. Cant fault at all, and the student discounts make it even better. Thank you to our kind waiter Steven who was fab :)
The food is nice. In terms of serving the souvlaki and its side is enough to fill my stomach. Kudos to the staff named
Annalise, she is very approachable and welcoming.
Just opened so can't judge to much yet. Nice clean modern decor on two floors. Friendly attentive staff, but did have to wait awhile for dessert. Food was of a good standard but the portions were a bit small. Pleasantly surprised to be asked for my honest opinion of the meal.
Mythos lager £4.50
Dolmades £6.30
Lamb Kefte £7.25
Baklava £4.50
Staff were very friendly, place is decorated modernly, prices are reasonable, the popcorn halloumi is delicious, but I've had much nicer Greek food in Newcastle at similar prices and The Aegean cocktail tastes terrible and chemically. Even after requesting a swap for something that I could drink, I was still charged for the blue cocktail that I never drank and an 'optional' service charge was added to our bill that we had to ask to have removed. Instead of opting into the service charge, it was forced on us first and foremost. I'd give this a miss and head to the Greeks in the Bigg Market if you value the food over the decor.
