Great pub with a great atmosphere does get very busy..

Great in every sense, just need more bar stools!
Let me set the scene: 23th July, warm out, sun down and I was tipsy to say the least (or most).
I'd been on somewhat of a pub crawl, the punchbowl was the first place I went to so I knew they showed live sports (Was the UFC on this particularly enjoyable eve).
I knew the pints were nice and the pints were well priced.
It had come to the point where Paddy "the baddy" Pimblett was fighting and I had to watch. So i rushed to the punch bowl to see. Great tv, great pint, great scrap. Great all round.
Highly recommended and I recommend it.
Shame about Aspinall though ????

Absolutely packed which is great but the Discotheque playing music reduced talking to shouting. Met a lovely man who is 79 this year, bought him a pint, not a clue what he is called rhough
Decent enough pub, when they put bands on in the main room you can spend an enjoyable half hour trying to communicate your order to the bar staff via mime, gesticulation and interpretive dance.
Nice place not expensive and good live music
