Superb! Unfortunately we only stayed one night, but would love to come back! Lovely location, friendly and helpful staff, and the food…delicious! Huge portions for a more than fair price!

A very good Sunday lunch. The food was cooked perfectly, massive Yorkshire pudding. The portions are large,and sadly left no room for a desert.
We've been many times before and had food from the menu, which is always good. The staff are attentive and friendly.

Very friendly staff, great service. Good clean room, very comfortable bed. It's very unusual for me to get a good nights sleep. No problem at The Punch Bowl. The location is excellent for a base from which to travel to the myriad attractions in the area. The food is truly excellent.
Called in for a drink and takeaway dinners after hearing excellent feedback from friends. Found pub warm, welcoming and friendly. Staff were polite and helpful. Pub was full and customers were enjoying their socialising. Atmosphere was top notch. My wife and I felt at home even though it was our first visit. The pub has something for every age group, food menu was extensive and we will let all our family in on our find and we'll definitely be back soon. Only gripe is no real ale on tap? John smiths and Guinness only but loads of lager choices. Get a porter or Stout in and ill be there everyday.
Staff are always friendly and welcoming, food is always nice and good size portions. Never had any issues and would highly recommend. Nice bar area, big beer garden, parking. What more do you need ????
