The Pro Beauty Academy is an excellent school for earning a cosmetology license! The teachers are always there for you and make sure you learn everything possible. The director ❤️helps me a lot and in every way possible from financial situations to preparing me for the State Board exam! And much much more ! especially thanks ???? to the Lovely, friendly director ????. She always encourage me and achieve my goals , She always smiling and a ray of sunshine every day and all the time !If you are looking to join a cosmetology school, The Pro Beauty Academy is the perfect choice❤️

I paid for the school kit on the first day of class and they never gave me my supplies. They let me stay enrolled for four months to accumulate hours and charges. I never gained hands on experience because they refused to give me my kit. The teacher Miss Olivia gives off extremely odd vibes, she is more concerned with hearing her own voice speak and talk about herself and she is more concerned with trying to get the male teacher aid to be used as a demo for massages then she is concerned with teaching her students.. I have never seen so many depressed people in one building, maybe its the dingy grey walls. The school is completely unprofessional and they only care about money. I have emails confirming that they never gave me my kit that I paid for and i also have a receipt ,and i made it clear numerous times to the teacher and the director miss abbha that i am not benifiting and i need my supplies that i payed for in order to learn and feel like i belong at the school. I was isolated from my peers and not given the same opportunity to learn hands-on experience. Innovative academy in south plainfield is a better bet to learn, innovative acdemy is more professional the environment is more clean at innovative academy and they offer the students much better supplies, which they actually give them out to their students.

This is not a good school. Ms. Aabah only cares about the money. They don't teach you well and they don't prepare you for the state examination either. At the end of the course they charge you additional money for any reason and don't let you get your license until you pay unjustified additional money. It is not worth your waste of time and money. Before registering research their graduation rate. The classsrooms are very small and uncomfortable and there is only one room to practice. Check their social media.

This is definitely not the best school for beauty licensing, teachers are not very well knowledgeable and in some cases they wont showy up to class and wont leave any assignments not follow up, they are more worry about collecting money than making sure students are well trained for the exam, there is no community with management, they never update you on how many hours / chapters you have completed and in some cases their calculations are higher that the real amount of hours taken, their equipment are cheap, damaged or not equipment at all, had to bring my own tools and let other students use them, supplies were always low or non supply at all making us postpone practice to following days, very difficult to find answers at the end on pending documentation .

I love Pro Beauty Academy. They were so helpful with me obtaining my license for Nail Tech. Ms. Singhs was so nice and professional with explaining to me everything I needed to do to get it done. I’m thankful to My instructor also Ms. Gia who taught me everything I know in the nail industry. I’ll be returning for my Cosmetology license too ♥️

I’m a Barbering graduate! Came in September 2019 with high hopes fresh out of high school. Pro Beauty may look small but it does a BIG job on what you need to learn and pass. The staff have great hearts (and are very welcoming) ! They really help you to get to where you want to be and they make it fun even when there’s some topics we study that isn’t the greatest. I actually got a spot at a barbershop from being there and I met good people which means good connections which is amazing in the hair industry. If you’re near the area and want to get into barbering, nails, skin care, or cosmetology as a whole, I recommend going to Pro Beauty. ( Also to anyone who might think the pricing is high or what not, every cosmetology school is priced similarly. It is what it is for this type of school or any college) TPBA really gives what you need though. And the kit you receive is really nice. Just great overall!

Thanks to Pro Beauty Academy I got my Nail Technician license , Ms. Aabha guide me from beginning to end to get my license, and even after I graduate if I need any help or any question about the nail industry career they still advised me. Best decision ever, that change my life … I am a Proud NJ licensed Nail Tech thanks to Pro Beauty Academy
