We get fish and chips here regularly. The chips are great and fish is always a decent size, but always, always overcooked leaving it dry. Take the fish out the fryer sooner... I beg you ????

Very good fish and chips. The place (or The Plaice) appears very clean, and everything is reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and the service is good. I had cod and my wife had haddock, and everything was piping hot and not greasy, and not a soggy chip in sight.

Prices have increased and portions are smaller. Quality not great too.fish way too oily. Disappointing. Finest catch is much better on Stratford road. Worth the drive
Hands down best chip shop in the area. Have used them for years. Food is always spot on! Amazing fish especially. The staff are lovely and friendly and always take the time to have a chat with you. Whenever ive been anywhere else I've always been disappointed as I compare it to the plaice. Never had a bad meal here!

Great fish and chip place. The best for miles around. Very well priced with a wide selection including all the extras you'd want like kebabs, sausages, burgers, etc. Well worth a visit.
