Really great Sunday lunch. Fantastic value for money. All hot and really well seasoned. Red cabbage and cauliflower cheese was a lovely surprise. Slightly bigger plates would help as food was piled on the plate and cutting meat was tricky as it was top of the pile.
Lovely, friendly staff. Will definitely be going again.
Tip. If you’re thinking of going for food, you’ll need cash.

First time I have visited in a while. It was a nice warm place and felt quite homely with the fairy lights around the place. Took our Grandchildren in who played the hoop game. There were other games to play like Jenga and some others too.

I’ve passed this pub thousands of times and never been in until today. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. It’s a lot bigger inside than it looks! A pool table, tv for sport and great staff. The menu is… limited. Pizza, crisps ect…. But clean and friendly. Give it a go
Have not been in this venue for years, but unfortunately was here for a wake.
So on this basis what we saw was a lovely clean pub. We were in the back room. The staff were very friendly and efficient.
Had an amazing experience last Sunday booked a table for sunday roast got shown to our table by the very welcoming barmaid to the get an excellent deal with the bogof roasts which may i add were delicious cooked to perfection the deserts were also lovely ! Lovely atmosphere , amazing roasts, cheep drinks what more could you want on a sunday ! Will definitely be returning thankyou for your amazing service ! Amazing lovely local pub
A large group of us visited the pub. Very welcoming…. Staff are great the manager Chris was very friendly. Great atmosphere. We had a great night.
Just had a lovely roast lunch at the new in with a dear friend two meals £10:25 staff ten out of ten friendly and clean and the food was supper delicious so thank you and we are coming back next Sunday
