It's my treat when I travel up north, meat potato pie, chips and gravy. It didn't let me down, delicious, as remembered, because this covid has grounded me for 2 years.
We came here at the end of a nice walk around Macclesfield. At closing time on the off chance they had some leftovers, we were very surprised to see a queue and still preparing fish to fry. I have to say its one of the best chippy's I've had in ages! Chips cooked to perfection, fish that tastes like fish was soft and flaky with thin crisp batter and not a soggy bottom in sight. All at a very affordable price too. Highly recommended!

Lovely chips and I believe the fish was good too, as I had a sausage. Good service too but there wasn't a queue when we went.
Went to Milll Lane chippy yesterday and there was a girl being trained. The girl training her had the worst attitude with her, it was disgusting the way she spoke and treated her. If it was me I don’t think I would be going back for another shift of humiliation
Visited this Chippy for the 1st time two days ago. Not impressed. I chose this Chippy as I live literally just 5 minutes away from the Chippy but by the time I got home the chips were soggy and could only be described as warm at best while some were almost cold. It was clear from their appearance that some were from an earlier fry up. The fish were a reasonable size and OK but I would not recommend the chips to ANYONE! I shall definitely be looking elsewhere in future
