The chicken satay starter was the best chicken satay sticks I've ever had. The Pad Thai noodles (with chicken) was amazing. The food presentation was beautiful. The staff are all lovely and very accommodating. We were even able to book in despite them being very busy. I recommend the Thai ice tea.
Went here for a Sunday evening meal as this was one of the only Thai restaurants in the area that did dine in on a Sunday evening but I'm so glad we ended up here. This was the best Thai I've had since Thailand. We had the mixed starter platter and I couldn't tell you what the best item on the board was because it was all good and then I had a chicken Penang and my wife had the prawn green curry both of which were full of flavour and punch, exactly what you want from a Thai. On top of the food the service was friendly, attentive and very happy. We will be back as soon as possible. Yum yum!

As someone who knows nothing about Thai food and wanted some help with picking a meal the waitress was very helpful and the food was good. This picture isn't how it looked when it arrived. It was all neatly arranged until I shovelled it around and then took the photo. Would 100% go back

This thai restaurant is conveniently located next to all the local amenities. I went for a meal here on Sunday evening. I pre-booked my table in advance. I was greeted by the staff and then taken to my table. The restaurant looked clean, tidy, and spacious. The tables were laid out nicely leaving reasonable space between each other.
The menu offered a good range of dishes and they were reasonable prices for the area. The chicken with spicy basil is worth sampling. I will mention the rice portions are tiny for all the dishes I tried.
The overall service from start to finish was good. Waiters were checking if everything was ok, topping drinks up, etc. Although the service was slow but worth the wait because the food was cooked fresh and the restaurant that evening appeared to be busy.
Despite the small portions of food, I had an overall pleasant dining experience with food of the most exquisite flavours. For this reason, I highly recommend going to the The Local Thai Restaurant in Paignton.

Always a five star experience - from the service of the staff, convivial environment, to the food itself.
We had the mixed platter as a starter: vegetable spring rolls, satay chicken, pork dumplings, crispy fried chilli squid with sweet chilli, peanut, and sweet sriracha dips. Perfect appetisers all.
Main courses were lamb shank massaman, and vegetable massaman, both accompanied by sticky coconut rice. Along with the starter and our ordered prawn crackers we were pretty stuffed and content when it was time to pay the bill. Add in the 4x330ml Singha beers, one Pina Colada cocktail and one iced coffee, and the bill came to a very reasonable £77.
