A proper pub. Good beer, no food (but the barman let us bring in a takeaway from the local chippy) and a fabulous indoor/outdoor toilet. Oh and the beer garden is really good too. Located under a busy flyover, but really nice just the same!!!

Me, the family and my dog had a wonderful time at the live music night in the beer garden! The musicians were all so friendly and talented. It was nice to have something a little different in the area.
Haven't been here in years due to moving away. It's a timeless classic though...very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stop here again
Pub was buzzing with people talking and merrily drinking. No music , no karaoke no food ,just friends chatting. Great staff . Typical old fashion pub , more of these please.
