After a short closure and a 'holding manager this pub now seems in safe hands. It has good Thatcher's cider, interesting radical magazines and a parrot, (well Bristol is Long John Silver's town). Well worth using.

By far the best pub in Brislington. Friendly on every visit and never anh hassle. The beer is brilliant too. A well kept pint of Timothy Taylor's Landlord is the icing on the cake

I was very impressed with the Xmas decorations at this pub. Really made an effort and it's good to see a proper pub doing well. Barman was very friendly and welcoming. Drinks are a decent enough price. Interior decor is nice and well maintained.

A very friendly atmosphere with the landlord and landlady very welcoming. Lines are kept well so always have a decent pint.

Amazingly friendly landlord and lady who are a credit to the pub, always finding new things for customers pleasure to visit

A good traditional boozer with a snug and outside seating. And a parrot !
