Came 2 join a friend & watch the sunrise ???? 2getha! Had a great time, watching the sunrise on the horizon ????????
Amongst all the beaches along the North Shore suburban shore line, this one is the most breathe taking one. Reason being the preservation of natural habitat here. Now, something to keep in mind is that you have to be a Kenilworth Resident and have a Kenilworth parking permit to park your car right by it, but you shouldn’t really have a hard time if you plan a picnic day of it and come here with our family and take the train out here. Just remember to bring water, beach towels, sunglasses, sunscreen depending on the weather that day. The park is open dusk to dawn, so sunrise to sunset I believe. Truly a great experience.
Gorgeous winter view to the south from the top. It seems that beach level in the winter is not accessible
Love coming here! It's beautiful! I just wish the street had some parking that didn't require a permit!
Very nice view. Very clean place and quiet.
Great place to rest on my 80 mile bike ride.Great view from the beach!
Beautiful little private beach. Spectacular views from overlook. Pretty pricey if you are non resident.
So clean so beautiful such a great view well regulated in terms of identification. Good parking.... steep climb but worth it.

Quick Facts About The Kenilworth Beach

The Kenilworth Beach is highly praised for its stunning natural beauty and breathtaking views. Many visitors express their joy in watching the sunrise over the horizon, creating a memorable experience. The preservation of the natural habitat is noted as one of the strengths, making this beach stand out among others along the North Shore suburban shoreline. The beach is open from sunrise to sunset, allowing visitors to enjoy a full day of sun and relaxation.
One of the notable weaknesses mentioned by a visitor is the parking situation. To park near the beach, one must be a Kenilworth resident with a parking permit. This can make it difficult for non-residents to visit the beach, as finding alternative parking options may be inconvenient. However, the suggestion of taking the train to the beach is provided as a workaround for this issue.
The beach is also positively mentioned for its cleanliness and quiet atmosphere. Visitors appreciate the effort put into maintaining the cleanliness of the beach, making it a pleasant environment to relax in. The quietness of the area adds to the overall peaceful experience and allows for ample opportunity to rest and unwind.
Another strength of the beach is its accessibility for outdoor activities. A visitor mentions taking an 80-mile bike ride and finding the beach to be a great place to rest. This highlights the beach's potential as a pit stop or rest area for biking and other outdoor activities, providing a well-deserved break with a great view.
The beauty of the Kenilworth Beach is further emphasized by a visitor who describes it as a "beautiful little private beach." The view from the overlook is mentioned as spectacular, painting a picture of the beach as a serene and picturesque destination. However, it is noted that the beach may be relatively expensive for non-residents, suggesting that the pricing may be a weakness for some.
Finally, the beach is commended for its good parking facilities, despite the need for a permit. Although the climb to the beach is described as steep, it is deemed worth it for the beautiful views and well-regulated identification process.
In conclusion, the Kenilworth Beach is highly regarded for its natural beauty, breathtaking views, cleanliness, and quiet atmosphere. The preservation of the natural habitat and the effort put into maintaining the beach's cleanliness are notable strengths. However, the requirement of a Kenilworth parking permit poses a challenge for non-residents, making parking for visitors without a permit difficult. The beach's accessibility for outdoor activities and its picturesque view are also mentioned as strengths. Pricing, particularly for non-residents, is highlighted as a potential weakness. Overall, the Kenilworth Beach offers a memorable and enjoyable experience for those who are able to visit.
