What can I say. This is the kind of breakfast institution that I love and that is become all too rare to find in the UK.
Friendly service, great prices and a delicious fry up. The hash browns are so crispy and excellent and everything comes out piping hot!
The woman serving was pleasant, the prices are good and the cup of tea was nice. But it was all downhill from there. Waited ages for my breakfast, but the cafe wasn’t particularly busy. The breakfast came and the plate was swimming in oil/grease. I couldn’t finish it because it was making me feel sick, so I paid and left. Lots of good comments on here, so maybe I got a bad day, but I won’t be back.
I went here Saturday morning and I was stood waiting for the lady to clean the table for 20 minutes. I was waiting over an hour for my food and didn’t even bring the drinks over until the food was here. All I could hear was the chef shouting at the woman that worked there. The food was horrible and bland I felt sick instantly waiting over an hour for a can of pop and a fry up is crazy! Do not recommend! Lakeside cafe is so much better
Staff are very friendly and the breakfast was spot on and very good value.
Will be back next time we're in Worcester.
Surprised to see such positive reviews on what was a disappointing culinary experience. Dirty table that I had to clean myself and caked sauce bottle tops didn't give us a good first impression. The 'brown' sauce was anything but, in fact it was more of an anaemic chutney, weird looking and an even stranger taste. Bacon more fat than meat and whole plate left swimming in fat. You would think they could get the tea right, I'm afraid not. Drinking dishwater would be more pleasurable. At £7.50, this was an expensive mistake. Avoid.
The best local cafe with great prices and lovely staff. The lady who runs the place is always friendly, which makes the experience even better. I’ll never find an alternative cafe.
