Quick Facts About The Elm Tree Tavern

The Elm Tree Tavern has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation. Firstly, the pub is described as having a great atmosphere. This is an important factor for many customers as it creates a welcoming and enjoyable experience. The presence of a pool table and darts board on one side of the pub also adds to the entertainment value. The fact that local teams play here demonstrates that the pub is involved in the community and provides a space for recreational activities.
The availability of ample parking is another strength of The Elm Tree Tavern. Customers mention that the car park was clean during their visit, which suggests that the pub takes care of its facilities. Having a clean and well-maintained parking area is important for attracting and retaining customers, especially those who may be driving from a distance.
Another strength of The Elm Tree Tavern is its Sunday roasts. Multiple comments mention that the roast dinners here are one of the best they have had, excluding their own homemade meals. This shows that the pub offers high-quality food at a great price. Furthermore, the pub appears to have plenty of seating space, creating a comfortable environment for dining. The family-friendly atmosphere also adds to the appeal, making it a suitable place for people of all ages to enjoy a meal.
The pub's function room is described as a great size for hosting events, with plenty of room for seating and dancing. This is an advantage for customers who are looking for a venue for their parties or functions. The positive comments about the friendly and accommodating staff during these events highlight the pub's ability to provide a quality experience and ensure customer satisfaction on such occasions.
Despite these strengths, there are a few weaknesses that have been mentioned in the comments. One customer complains about the pub's hygiene, stating that it stinks and has poor hygiene standards. This comment is in contrast to others that praise the clean service and cleanliness of the car park. It's important for the pub to address this issue and ensure that consistent hygiene standards are maintained to prevent negative perceptions and potential health concerns.
In conclusion, The Elm Tree Tavern has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation. These include a great atmosphere, entertainment options like pool and darts, ample parking, and high-quality Sunday roasts. The pub also offers a function room suitable for hosting events and has received positive feedback regarding customer service during these occasions. However, the pub should take the complaint about hygiene seriously to ensure a consistently clean environment. Overall, The Elm Tree Tavern appears to be a highly regarded establishment with many positive attributes.

Nice pub, great atmosphere. One side hosts a pool table and darts board, and has local teams play here. Plenty of space out the back and front to sit and have a cigarette if you're a smoker. Ample parking, car park was clean during my visit. The Sunday roasts here are by far one of the best roast dinners I've had (that I haven't cooked myself) and at a great price. Plenty of room to sit and dine, and a family friendly atmosphere. I believe they also do functions in the restaurant side, which is a great size for a function, and plenty of room for seating and dancing if you were to have a party there.
We used the function room for my sons' dads wake, they provided the food which was lovely and very reasonably priced. We were made to feel very welcome by Barry and Donna , nothing was too much trouble. The bar staff were friendly and hands on. A big thank you to everyone , the family appreciate all your help on such a sad occasion.
