Janet started my dreads and not only is she quick and efficient , but quality is also A1. Always get great compliments and inquiries on where I get them done. Been a customer for 4 years and have never left disappointed.
I've been to all places and no one could do a better job than pablo. The barber is detail oriented so you'll get your moneys worth. The shop is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. Ill continue to come here no matter how far I live.
Pablo is a true master of his craft. I will not and haven't seen any other barber in years. State of art techniques. Remembers me and what I like. I love the 45 min option at a great price
I absolutely love the Duo Barbershop and Salon! Sara has been doing my hair for 10+ years and always has done an outstanding job! Not only does she know how to deal with my very curly hair but she styles my hair in such a way that makes me feel absolutely beautiful which is priceless! She always goes the extra mile and helps me make the right decisions for what to do next with my hair. Janet and Pablo are amazing too! My brother absolutely loves when Pablo cuts his hair. They are the best place to go in Salt Lake for African American or ethnic hair! I highly recommend them to EVERYONE!
The Duo is absolutely phenomenal, and it's one of the best barbershops in the Salt Lake area. Pablo genuinely cares about his clients and the haircuts he gives, and he really takes his time. I have never once felt rushed at The Duo, and it's always been an incredible experience. Pablo does a great job and is very professional with his haircuts - I highly recommend!
Probably the best barbershop I've been to in the city, and I've been to a few.
I got a haircut and beard trim here. Didn't feel rushed at all like some barbers feel like. Pablo took his time and did an amazing job. Also wasn't pressed any products like some barbershops try to do.
Will definitely go back again.
Pablo got his own place, and he's still doing incredible work. He used to be at another barbershop in the city until he had such a devoted clientele (I'm among his loyal customers) that he opened up his own place. Every time I get a haircut there I love how it turns out and it's at a great price. I get fairly unconventional haircuts but Pablo does it like a master.
PS - I'm not African American but I have several friends who go to him and they say that Pablo's a rare find in Salt Lake City of someone who can cut African hair well.
Pablo is an excellent barber and a nice person. Didn't chat me up during the haircut which I appreciate. Came in at 1030 AM and I was the only person there. Haircut, neck shave and massage took about a half hour. The way he faded my hair is perfect, he pays a lot of attention to detail (but not too much). Building is nice. They were playing natgeo wild on TV which was cool. Lions killing hippos is so much more interesting to watch than CNN or ESPN..Spent $25 including the tip. Worth it.
