Went here for mother's day dinner today . Food was amazing, from presentation to taste. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. One thing, do leave room for dessert, fantastic.
Blew me away... blew us away. Four of us came for Sunday dinner, still raving! Personal service (made to feel very welcome), selection of wines and last, but by far not least - the exquisite gastronomic treats to delight the senses. We will be back, best roast we’ve had in a long time. I had the a la carts pork belly (as shown in pictures). Fabio, Mrs Fabio and team are quickly becoming a key in their community.
We found out a young lady called Florentina Burton who is is in the midst of an epic battle against a very rare form of cancer. The Dolphin are raising money and awareness for her to go to the states for Critical treatment. Please see their fb page for details.

Absolutely superb food, lovely service too. The price is perhaps a little high, but the quality of the food is certainly worth it if you're looking for a treat.

Just on the Braintree end of the old A120 sits this little pub serving food and a selection of beers. Standard low slung beams and exposed brickwork fire places. They have a lovely little outdoor area out front and a unenclosed beer garden with views out over the rolling fields. I should imagine this is lovely on a late summers afternoon sipping a pint and absorbing the views.
