The food was immensely beautiful, such taste, you couldn't taste the oil, but the chips yes yes, you could feel the fluffyness, the salt and vinegar basking in the steam of warmth. I wasn't well that day so this really gave me some energy to finish my long drive. Thank you for being so nice and welcoming. They had a variety of drinks, fresh food, front of the shop had parking space. Appears the locals are friendly as well. If I am nearby again I will Deffo come here !! Don't hesitate to stop by this place, it's worth the 10 minutes to eat and feel happy.

Loved it, I had nothing in for lunch, I was dirty ,dusty and hot. I phoned the Chip Box and just five minutes later was enjoying really nice chips and an enormous piece of freshly cooked cod,only £7.10,served with a smile.Can’t beat it

If you like fish and chips you’re love this place

Lovely owner and a lovely Chippy, you can tell they take great pride in serving the local community and also passing trade. Chips crisp cooked to perfection and the Fish crispy on the outside and perfect inside. The curry and gravy also peas first class.

Very friendly service and even better quality of food. This has become a weekly regular for myself and my family.

Very friendly staff. A pleasure to meet them. Chips themselves need a little work to match the best. There was a taste of old oil on them, on this occasion. Maybe it was due for a change in the new year. But thanks any way, nice shop, great service.

Chips were very thin, greasy and not a lot of them.The fish was overcooked and for a large fish came up really small. Wouldn't return. Better chippies around.
