CISSE,MAIMOUNA (The main hairstylist) charged me $20.00 to wash my hair did NOT dry it at all after leaving the sink. I told her I did not want my dreads crocheted because over time that particular method thins areas of your hair. I prefer my dreads hand twisted. She charged me $140.00 total to wash my hair and two strain twist my NEW GROWTH!!! my new growth wasn’t even locked getting out the chair. I have gotten better touch ups from other salons than this service I received this morning. She did not part my hair…a comb never touched my scalp. Never put any locking gel on my scalp. After comforting her she said, “I don’t know how to retwist by hand” ( but you been in business for over 20 years) But she took my money tho. Completely ripped me off. Highly disappointed. Oh yeah my hair was still wet walking to my car
I came to this place to start a lock and I ended up with twists. I was charged $120 for them to just twist my hair. Very disappointing.
First time customer, had a 9am appt. and the stylist was there on time. I must say, she SLAYED my hair!!! I love it and will definitely be a returning customer. The prices are very reasonable also. Highly recommend ????
The place and service was ok. I was charged $80 for a re-twist and left a $5 tip. So I payed $85. I called the next day to see price to start locs because a co-worker wanted to get some and I was told price starts at $80. So I asked how much for a re-twist and she said $60. To sum it up I was Overcharged.Truckers beware they size you up and give you any price.(was surprised they didn’t wash my hair but that’s no big deal but for $80 I should have.and they’re heavy with the beeswax my hair was super greasy after until I washed it.
I am so thankful for the ladies at the Braidery. They have been beyond patient with me. The owner was so polite and she didn't have to be because I cancelled twice. My actual stylists Hawa went above and beyond to make sure I had the hair I desired. She actually drove around to two different stores for my hair color. I wish so much success and financial favor over their business. God bless all of you ladies and because we met once they will forever be in my prayers.
I love this place always so professional and laid back. The ladies are very sweet and it's always a great experience. I would never let anyone touch my hair again but them.
i love this place!! i came from joplin all the way to springfield to find a good place to get my braids done AND THIS PLACE DID NOT DISAPPOINT AT ALL!! I had originally booked an appointment with Springfield Braiding Company just down the street from these guys, but that place was far too UNPROFESSIONAL for me!....... Glad I found these guys and I couldn’t recommend them more!!!!
The quality of the details of her work is unmatched! Her braids and twist are soooo beautiful!! Breathtaking. Show stopping workk!! Friendly, professional, and detailed!! Love it! Spoil you ????
