Once again an exceptional meal and service, we were in restaurant which had quite a lot of children in and Jason moved us to different table in quieter area, very kind of him as was my husband's 70th birthday and appreciated not as much activity. Meal, steak pie was beautiful served by friendly staff, couldn't manage a dessert as stuffed. Can't recommend this pub enough
A lively all ages community pub for sure. Great atmosphere. It was far too busy for us to get Sunday Roast as it was absolutely packed. Booking recommended on a Sunday then, but I can't comment on the food. A real proper unpretentious boozer. I wish there were more of these places left in the UK
Friendly staff, all food was freshly prepared, great portion sizes and reasonably priced.
Gorgeous food and lovely helpful staff.
I went with 11 of my work colleagues and everyone of them enjoyed their food.
The garlic mushrooms were excellent and in a lovely thick sauce.
My steak was cooked to perfection, I would highly. recommend.

Simply stunning service and food. We can’t believe they can provide this quality and these portion sizes at these great prices! Thank you. We’re not local, but we’re already going to book for Sunday carvery. Well worth the drive!
We go every Sunday for our carvery. Every time they are accommodating as we sometimes go in as a couple or a group of 5 or a group of 13 and every time they have made it possible for us to go with our family. We love the food. The best carvery we have had and trust me I’ve had plenty ???? recommend 10/10
