The Bell Cafe has recently been reopened under new management, and the improvements they’ve made are amazing. Everything, including the decor, service, preparation, and taste, was wonderful and clearly handled with care.
Furthermore, it’s rare that I open a takeaway box to find such a lovely presentation. The picture doesn’t do it justice, but everything looked perfect and tasted even better. I’m extremely impressed and will definitely be back! It’s the hidden gem this neighbourhood needs.
Well what an unexpected excellent gem of a restaurant.
Don't be put off by the outside....inside you will receive the most excellent and warm hearted experience.
The food here is first class, fresh and exciting! Not to mention really reasonable!
I've meet up with a very good friend about 3 times now at this restaurant and every time I'm blown away by the service and food....What a treat! ????
absolutely love this place. had been recommended bells by my neighbour i took my son for breakfast and we were so impressed! the food was delicious, huge portions and well priced. plus the added bonus of the super friendly owner who served us with a smile and friendly chat. we have returned many times, and i have brought friends who have loved the cafe aswell. tried the curry today -it is epic.... so delicous and again a huge portion and very reasonably priced. this place is a hidden gem!
Wow! What a find! Welcomed with a friendly smile. Served with a deliciously frothy Cappuccino as I made my choice from the extensive Menu. Had to be a Full English for Brunch. Excellent portions, beautifully prepared and presented.
All in all a great ‘Local’ Cafe/Restaurant that certainly hit the spot!
We ordered the chicken curry with rice and the chicken biryani. Both tasted great and the spice level was just right (and is customizable on request). The biryani also came with two sauces for balance. The prices are very reasonable and I would definitely order them again!
The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome even though it was our first time. There were many regulars there too.
For a cafe, the food took quite some time to arrive after ordering but this is forgivable given the final quality - I would not want them to rush if it meant sacrificing the taste.
Genuinely impressed by the one working in The Bell. Had one of the most unique and delicate curry dinners I've ever tried in London so far. Their Chicken Biryani is so good that I love to come back for more!
Under new management and the food ranges from ‘full English’ through various curries to donner kebabs. Pleasant decor, friendly service and takeaways available! Yummy cakes and great coffee available for afternoon tea!
Excellent selection of fresh, fragrant curries. The food was top quality, with tender chicken and fresh herbs throughout.
Very reasonably priced and generous portions. This is a must visit!
