I went there after a christening. For some reason, after a few of hours, they turned the heating off in the marquee they attached to the pub. This would have been later afternoon. Not closing time. They clearly wanted us to leave! So from that perspective, it was disappointing.
Very lively venue with live music every Saturday. Great bar prices and always enough friendly staff on call to cater for the crowds. Good mix of ages.

A middle of the estate pub on the outskirts of the estate. Not sure what the name refers to but we assume it is a type of apple, there being orchards close by.
Nice enough and the regulars seem to enjoy the place but it's not for us.
