Best PlaceJuice Reviews

Honestly the best Thai food in Newcastle.
Very busy and so you may have to wait, but the wait will be worth it.
Cash only and service is okay, don’t expect too much!!
Delicious food and well worth the wait!
Thank you and the photos do not do it justice!!
Been to this restaurant a few times. The food is very good. I have spoken to a few Thai friends and they have said this restaurant is relatively authentic to inland Thai food.
I have tried the ‘Som Tum Thai’, it is papaya salad. It was crunchy, sweet and mildly sour, with a taste of fish sauce, very nice.
The ‘pad Thai’ was well made, you can smell the wok in the dish.
I also tried the most popular ‘pork leg stew’, which is essentially braised pork leg with Asian picked vegetables. Personally I am not a huge fan of braised pork, but if you like it, I think it was a well made dish. The meat was tender but soft and didn’t stick to the teeth. The skin was like tender jelly. They also served what tasted like a vinegar sauce with a mild garlic taste, which went well with the pork.
I also tried the soup ‘Tom Yum’, I didn’t really like it the time I had, I was expecting something slightly more creamy as it was quite watery, and there was a mild taste of metal from the pot.
The service is very good, the staff are very friendly.
Overall, this is a nice restaurant with good thai food and good service
An authentic thai restaurant run by a friendly thai lady boss. She said the theme of the restaurant is making people feel like visiting her house and enjoy her home cooked food which is the meaning of the name of the restaurant(Thai House Cafe). I also heard that all the chefs are ladies! How amazing! It’s like moms cooking dinner for guests ????
During my first visit, my girlfriend was wondering if they do pineapple fried rice as she’s been craving it so much and we didn’t quite see it in the UK. We were lucky enough to meet the lady boss on our first visit and got her phone number to order pineapple fried rice! She was so kind and nice to offer us such a special order!
Even though their prawns were a little bit overcooked on most of the dishes but the overall taste was very authentic and delicious! Probably they could put more work on cooking the seafood but everything else were good. Love their tom yum! You guys should really try that one! We will definitely come back for more! Staffs were nice and friendly as well!
Oh ya and one more thing is I find their thai tea was not quite authentic and not really good, it’s just sweet and not much taste of the tea. Hopefully they could make improvement on that!
????Thai House Café, Newcastle (Thaihouse Newcastle)
When a Thai local person vouches for a Thai shop, that's a definite good start. And that's exactly what happened to us; a doctor from Thailand recommended this spot to us.
With a 4.6 star Google rating with 300 reviews, I was really looking forward to fixing my Thai food craving ????️
We came twice in a row. On our visit, I noticed that many patrons here were Thai people, conversing in their very own dialect. That's a testament of the authenticity of the cuisine. The owner happened to be there, who is a most friendly Thai lady.
????We ordered vegetarian Pad Thai. Delicious. Spicy, with the noodles not over-cooked and with the right consistency. The tofu complemented by the pickled chilli slices with peanuts, and the beansprouts; just perfect. Add in some Chilli Flakes and Lime for the kick. The Thai way would be to add some sugar in the dish, in which the owner showed us how to. We thoroughly enjoyed our Pad Thai.
????Our other experience there was on a Saturday night with friends; it was bustling with life, filled to the brim with patrons.
I enjoyed the beef with garlic & rice - tender, rich with spring onions and other herbs. Friends of mine had the signature Tom Yam with vermicelli.
????️My personal winner is the Pad Thai! We're definitely coming again when we have a Thai Food craving. There's so many dishes here I have yet to try out.
Such a lovely place with a welcoming atmosphere! We ordered chicken pad Thai and king prawn pad Thai as well as a salad to share.
The food was delicious, members of staff came up and asked if our Thai milk coffees were okay or too strong (they were perfect) or if our food was too spicy (again, perfect!). We really enjoyed our meal here and would definitely return!
The food is good. I ordered a chicken satay and a fish ball noodles and a Thai milk tea
But the environment are not child friendly
And the waiter are very cold to me. He is super nice to the girls next table go talk to them and offer them lots of sauces and they just put me in a corner with my son and they only accept cash but I don’t have so I use the hungry panda app to order the food.
And even my son (1 year old) looking at him smiling laughing his face are super cold not even say hi and just look away, several times
But the waitress are nice.
Anyway I just feel like I’m not welcoming there and have to eat fast and just go.
Food was amazing, the best Thai food I've had in the UK it was lovely. The cook came out to see if people were enjoying their food and I thought thay was a lovely touch. Cannot wait to return very soon.
If you like Thai food this is definitely the place to go it's so authentic it's same as if you were eating it in Thailand the staff are lovely I highly recommend this place to anyone ???? 10/10
