The lady at the counter is not polite, they increased service price and talk down to you for not knowing it. I understand that covid affected businesses, but at least have a proper service.
Now charging 20 for mens haircut.
More over, the hairdresser didnt wear mask, didnt sanitize the area, nor the brush, clips , cape nothing. For 20 bucks, its not worth it now.
Took 55 mins to wax legs, ridiculously slow procedure. The wax was not grabbing onto the hair and the owner lady insisted that this is best, most expensive wax and recommended me to stop waxing altogether when I said this wax is not suiting me. When I said I hate to pay $50 for this service, instead of acknowledgding my experience, she asked me to stand to a side and said she'll call the cops and make me pay. I have never heard someone say such a bizarre thing to me in the US! I told her to please go ahead and call them but also wanted to pay and get the hell out of there and not waste my time. To top it all, they don't accept credit cards and took me walking to another store 10 mins away to make me pay there. Ridiculous! How does this place get repeat customers is mind boggling to me. It is 1 min walk from Grove Street Station. I often go there. I would say it's expensive as compared to its other branch in journal square. The place is clean and staff is warm. They take good safety measures during covid.I however feel the service is not consistent. Sometimes good and sometimes not great.
Horrible! The main lady I don’t know who she was had no courtesy at all to even apologise. I went there for threading and she cut my chin and almost my side chin too. Instead of dealing with me she goes and talks to other customers outside,gossiping.She tells me that the chin often gets cut during threading . She didn’t even apply any lotion. Never have I had this issue and never has my chin got cuts during threading. No decency at all. Very bad service. Do not go!
I have been here a couple of times for a quick haircut. Never had any issues and the prices are pretty good.
The place is not as tidy as an upscale Salon and waiting area is too small.. something they can improve.
HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED! I went for face wax, I just explained her what areas to cover and not to make the eye brows thin. The staff member responded in an uninterested way. I am at the parlor trusting the service to take care of my face and give good service but the staff and owner doesn't seem to know that aspect of their business. She didn't do her task properly when asked to cover the areas she didn't at first, she acted arrogant. In the process she hurt me a little and my eye brows bleeded a little. the say they charge high for the service they give, I feel they deliver no service!
