Food is shocking, just got half egg fried rice chips curry sauce, with a sausage, the sausage was missing didnt realised till i got home, curry sauce was sweet and the rice was like boiled rice..not sure how you can mess that meal up as much as it was...NEVER AGAIN!! Birch street chippy blows this chippy out the water only used this one bcoz birch street is shut. proper hanging.

Ordered meat and potato pie chips and gravy, £5.25 ! absolute rip off, the gravy was insipid, wasted my money, first time at this chippy but definitely the last, safe your money...

What a horrible chippy. Ordered my food and had to wait for the chips. Which I thought was great & always like fresh chips.how wrong could I be. My chips were cold and hard like they had been sat in pan for a long time. Rest of food was also horrible and tasteless so though it in the bin. One to avoid.

Can's are knock off, don't have the GB mark!!!!!!

The best chippy I’ve ever been to i travel up up to 40 minutes to sunnys just for their food it’s honestly the best! I’ll never go to another chippy again! Owners are so lovely!

Nice people but shame about the food, chips were not cooked properly and Very tight on portions, fish was so oily as it had been reheated which had to be thrown in bin.

Amazing to read some of the reviews that food is good, do you guys have no taste buds. I tried once thought maybe it was just wrong timing, BUT no food was bad the second time too. Sorry but certainly not an ideal take away.

Ordered salt and pepper chicken and chips, only managed to eat three small pieces of chicken and that was only because I was in disbelief that it could taste so vile.

Had a few chips which could only be described as “reasonable” and just chucked the lot away. Very disappointed.

Miserable owners and they only accept cash payments, what’s that all about?!?

Wouldn’t buy from there again.
