I have considered bleaching my hair but I was afraid of doing it since I have an extremely sensitive scalp.

Today I just wanted to give it a shot and bleached my hair with Katie, and it was one of my best hair salon experiences.

She put extra effort into taking care of my sensitive scalp and preventing the hair from getting damaged.

The hair color looks way fancier than I expected, and I highly recommend her when u visit this salon.

I had a great experience here at Sunny Day Hair salon! Julie was very helpful and super experienced with styling hair. Very skillful. Will definitely come back and refer many people! 1000/5.

Julie is the best!!! I’ve been to this place for my regular haircut + perm in the past couple years, and every time they show consistent and excellent performance!

I'm only giving a star each for how nice the ladies are and how my haircut sorta came out how I wanted.

The lady that washed my hair barely touched my head. It felt like she was poking with her nails more than washing. She only got the top and the sides of my head and completely missed the back. When she dried it, she vigorously rubs my hair in the towel. I've been to so many salons and they never done this. Wet hair is frail and my hair is already fragile as it is. This was the lady's first day working but even so, I thought they would teach you how to wash hair before working on customers??

When they sat me down for my cut they started blowdrying my hair. It wasn't fully dried but they started STRAIGHTENING MY WET HAIR WITHOUT HEAT RESISTANT SPRAY! I've been working for months to repair it and they straight up destroyed months worth in minutes. I'm not confrontational so I just wanted to leave. I let them cut my hair, said yes to the cut since it was close enough to what I wanted, paid($70)/tip($20:I was so sad and just wanted to leave, I didnt care to ask them to break the only bill I had and I didnt see a tipping option for card)and got out.

My hair smells so burned that I ended up coming home to rewash my hair and am now going to sleep in a hair mask to hopefully rehydrate/repair my hair.

I am literally still crying.....I was looking forward to treating myself before my family's holiday get together

I hope this was just a bad day for them because they have good reviews and it was the reason why I went.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!! Poor business practice and unprofessional stylist!!!!!

I had went to this salon on 2 previous occasions. No issues. My 3rd visit has been traumatic. I wanted a simple full blonde highlight, which I have gotten for the past 15 yrs, with no issues. On my visit, the stylist turned my hair orange, then spent 3 hrs trying to fix it. I left the salon with burgundy hair after 6.5 hrs in the chair. I was calm and understanding to the stylist. The next day, went back to have my hair fixed. The whole time the stylist and her co-workers made me feel like it was my fault the stylist messed my hair up. When the stylist finished, my hair was darker than when initial came in. Which was the exact opposite of what I requested. I expressed my concerns, but the stylist didn’t care. I paid with no issues and tipped. I texted the stylist the next day because I was so disappointed and dissatisfied with her work. I literally have blocks of hair not died. She assumed I wanted free work (which I didn’t) and stated she had already spent enough time on me unpaid and her boss was upset.

I’m appalled at this salon and their unprofessional behavior and poor business practice.

My hair is embarrassing and now I will have to pay another salon $300-$400 to fix what Abee did.

Do not use Abee!!!!! She does not know color and is unprofessional!

I have gone with them to get haircuts and highlights and I love it, Katie was the one who assisted me on all my visits and did a wonderful job, especially with my highlights.

It was my first time to try dyeing my hair. I was thinking about the grey color but concerned about if it would harm my hair a lot. Cuz I heard that if I want that color, I need to bleach my hair before dyeing it, which might lead to damages to hair and scalp pain. One of my friends recommended me Sunny Day, which is a perfect and professional hair salon based on his experience. I made an appointment with hair stylist Young a day before. I was still worried about the bleaching process, but Young is super nice and thoughtful. She asked how do I feel, does my scalp hurt over the whole bleaching and dyeing. That made me feel much more comfortable. Though bleaching does hurt a little, the result is way better than what I thought!!! My hair was not damaged even a little bit of it!!! I highly recommend this hair salon and the hair stylist Young!(Tho I believe other hair stylists here would also be great!) You won't be despaired if you come here????
