Awesome place to get a hair cut! I showed Joel (the barber) a picture of what I wanted and he did an excellent job of interpreting what I was looking for and executed it flawlessly. Kept up good conversation the whole time too. Will definitely be back, probably with my kids.

Still an amazing place to get your haircut! Joel takes his time and does a great job. He does an awesome job with my boys too (ages 8 & 10). He'll hold a conversation with you and will get to know you over time. Definitely a place worth going to!

Best barbershop in Albuquerque! Joel and his barber staff are all excellent. All of them are very personable and professional. I've never once left disappointed. Joel has been my barber the entire time I have lived in New Mexico, and he has been on point every single time. He is also an artist, so it is very neat and unique to have your hair cut by an actual artist. The other barbers that work there are just as equally talented, and I have not seen or heard of any upset customers.
Such a cool space and great location. Sammy was amazing, friendly and professional. I loved my hair when I left and couldn't be happier with the experience. I've been taking my sons to Joel for years and he's just as talented and professional. I highly recommend them both!!!
Excellent cut. Nice decor. Good conversation. I really like this place. The barbers know their stuff and are actually licensed barbers, not just hair stylists. They did a nice job cleaning up my scruffy pandemic beard and dew.
I always used John Chilleli until he retired. Fortunately, I found Joel Baca at Stay True Barber.. I drive all the way from the far Northeast Heights for the good service and great barbaring. Ask for Joel Baca.
