This is the worst service I have received. I got a full set of acrylic nails/dip powder a few weeks ago, but nails started cracking and coming off the second day. I went back to complain but they were not willing refund me or even give me a discount on a new set. The young girl with tattoos that did my nails was unprofessional, unfriendly, and snobby. The owner needs to teach their employees better customer service. Save your money and avoid this place.
I wanted a coffin shape with a design in one nail instead they gave me a really uneven nails they did in about 2 1/2 minutes.they didn’t clean the cuticle at all they just buffed each nail barely and stuck the tips. Then they started doing the coffin shape and it looked more like an stiletto. In the thickness of every nail was different. Before they could even paint them I just told them to take them off they try to rip them off piece by piece with a cuticle cutter. I told him no let me soak them in acetone. They were mad and looked at me like I was asking for too much. Do use the same buffer for every client it’s not very sanitary and they use MMA if you like your nails healthy please don’t come here. Please google what MMA acrylic liquid is. Keep in mind when I was soaking in acetone they did not attend to me they just let me be there with all the stickiness around my finger. For starters, I want to metion that Im not a regular nail salon girl, I usually do my own nails but I like to try new places and give them a chance.Unfortunately I didn't saw reviews on this place, I just live near it and gave it a chance but when it was time to do my nails I was walked to a girl and she didn't even salute me, she was also on the phone and kept watching a show and completely ignoring me, she glued the nails crooked and with no care, then she forgot she had and appointment so they switched me to another lady who most likely damaged my natural nails from removing the glue nails to fix the crooked job that the other girl did, hurt my nails and didn't even paint them right. I'm a quiet and non problematic person so I did not make a fuzz about the whole situation, but I was so disappointed. Please don't go to this place it's really bad and they will ripped you off.
Was referred by a friend of a friend. Went on Friday afternoon. I haven’t gotten acrylic nails in so long and I am so disappointed with the turn out. The guy that did my nails was very rude, watching a show on his phone the whole time. Didn’t even clean my cuticles, the shape is horrible and different on each nail. After asking him to fix them a few times he just had an attitude. There’s bubbles in the acrylic and acrylic is just super thick, not even cleaned up underneath the nail. I asked for a colorful French tip. The French tip is too thick and crooked on each nail. It is Monday morning and the acrylic is already chipping off. For $50+ totally not worth a penny. Will not be going back or refer anyone to go here, ever.
The other day I went to get my nails done and I just want to say that overall the experience at Sky Nails was horrible. I asked to get the same set as my friend did and the employee who was doing her nails rudely asked if the nails were for me, a male. I felt disrespected specially after he gave a nasty look and I honestly just wanted to leave at this point. I decided to wait and the man who did my friend’s nails said he wasn’t doing me, that he’ll get someone else. The employee is clearly homophobic and they need to set their views aside and just do their job, after all they are here to do a job regardless of gender, religion or anything at all. The girl who did my nails was super nice but the nails were not done like I wanted them. The first man along with another man that was there that were both employees, they were both extremely rude and homophobic. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all and I would suggest you find a better place where you are treated as such, a customer!!!
I have been going there for a while now, but the last few times it has been horrible. The acrylic nails did not last not even a week. They were shaped horrible. The guy who did them was in a hurry and watching something on his phone the whole time. When I went there was 5 other people complaining. Will not be returning again.
i’m sorry but they were so bad. the woman i got was on her phone all the time and didn’t pay much attention to me, the nails came out thick with bumps and color wasn’t well either.
Terrible ! The girl did a great job on my feet. But then the guy rushed my refill on my nails. One nail was shaped weird I asked him to fix it he got an attitude and fake fixed it. I had to go so I didn’t even want to ask him to fix it again! He also left some pink on my nails from my last nail color. Never again!
