They opened dead on 12noon just like their Google hours stated

I expected to wait but my saveloy and chips were ready immediately. In and out in under a minute. I can't remember the last time I didn't have to hang around at a chippy waiting for chips to cook.

Really good fish and chips, always freshly cooked and friendly service. The southern fried chicken is good too.

Best fish and chips in berkshire. Always fresh with soft chips and crispy fresh battered fish. The portions are very generous and the staff are always lovely. I am so disappointed to see the 1 star reviews over something so petty, and can confirm that when I ordered from Istanbul fish and chips it was dreadful. (2 hrs late and literally dripping in grease).. Skippers is 100x nice

Skippers is the best fish and chips shop in the area. I've tried several in recent weeks. Skippers is the best by far. Great friendly service, fantastic value, quality battered fish and tasty chops. Perfect potion size. Skippers is my go to place for a proper, quality good food treat. Thank you please don't change.

We recently moved away from the area... and still haven’t found fish & chips as good as Skippers! Lovely owners, always welcoming - food is obviously amazing - nice light batter, fresh fish and fluffy chips...we even got so fed up of the poor fish and chips around our way we took a 30 minute drive JUST to eat at Skippers!
