Quality fish and chips and lovely service! My partner and I came about 9pm looking for food but found gold instead. A simple store front, filled warm service. Huge portions and great tasting fresh fish.
Ordered the cod and haddock (freshly made!), chips, mushy peas and curry sauce, which was also really good! Probably the best chippy to go if you're looking for a late night visit to the beach.
P.s Goes well with whisky
Very nice chippy. Had the chips and chicken strips special, think it was £3.50 everything was hot and tasty. Only downside was the portion size on the chips, would of had a little bit more. The size was a little bit small. But in saying that if i was to pass by again on my lunch i would go in again ????

Great chips and loads of vinegar and salt. Chips covered with batter and the chips were fantastic!

Food was beautiful red hot. I would like say best chippy around. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Apart from one I phone to place big order. How rude this lady was . Not helpful at all. Such shame as for years I used this chip shop . For home and work. They had 20 orders off me at one time. Some of my residents heard how rude she was and they said they will never use this chip shop again
What shame one person is doing this to the business. But well'done to the rest of the staff for beautiful food and service xx
Be a while since I had fish and chips so off to the best? It was saturday12.15 ordered fish and chips.chips were good fish was like a bit of cardboard.batter was soft and not a good taste very disappointed. Maurice.
Overcharged for Cod Bites and Chips as they added an extra £10 onto my order for no reason and I only found out once I check my bank account at home, extremely greasy food with very little fish and chips tasted fake somehow! service was extremely poor too, I will make sure to not be coming back here ever again
Ordered 3 haddock and chips tonight with curry and mushy peas .£36 with drinks . Got home to have a nice meal , but were soaked in fat were so greasy really were not nice
Also the lady that served me were so miserable who served us and no people skills what's so ever .
This is one of the best chippies in the area. Food is great and the staff are friendly despite the large queues. Get there early!
