My family & I love this restaurant, the food is spot on and as a family that holiday in India we know a thing or two about curry’s. The prices are reasonable and the staff are friendly.
It does not have a beer license but that is OK as you can take your own alcoholic beverages
Brilliant, brilliant and more brilliant. Been going for yonks and never let's you down. Lovely people. The smaller family restaurants are always the best!

Had a lovely meal and was able to have a catch up my brother in this a calm relaxed restaurant on a Thursday evening.
Ordered for the first time on Saturday, I was blown away by the quality of the food. The delivery was received within 30 mins ordering (via UberEats.)
Firstly, I received free poppadoms with my order, unsure if this is common practice but combined with the dips it was a great starter.
Pilau rice and chicken korma was sublime, the portions or not massive but they’re definitely big enough and filled me up. For a chicken korma it was perfectly seasoned with spices, the sauce was thick, the perfect texture.
This place is definitely going to be my go to Indian, thank you so much for a great experience!
Wow! Massively overrated, I am actually quite shocked at how poor quality both our curries were from such a place that's been there for years and has such a loyal following, im not sure if any of them have tried curries from other places in Heckmondwike but it's not hard to find a better one. The meat in curry was so tough it had to be cut into small pieces to be chewed, and I'm not a pensioner! The only plus side was the chicken was quite nice in my wife. Both were very untradtional in flavour and consistency and swimming in water when put on plates to eat. Given 2 stars instead of one because it did come quickly, but won't order here again, also quite expensive for what it is.
The menu rarely changes, which is fine, cos the dishes available are always spot on
Always perfect! Delicious. The chicken melts in your mouth. Definitely the best around
