I've visited here many times in the past. Even though I have locs., Salon Sarae remains one of the best place to get your hair "done". The best staff, friendly service and a peaceful environment to bring kids off all ages to get that Salon Sarae touch!
Not only are they fast and friendly but they're also extremely mannerable, no profanity at all. Very professional and courteous. Kudos to their upbringing.

A one star is too good for this place. Made an appointment with a lady called Dee Dee, two days before my appointment. Got to the salon at the precise time and she said she forgot about the appointment, and had another appointment to keep. Of course, no other person was available to make my hair. I left the salon without getting my hair done.
Very unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. My first time there, and never going back.

I had an appointment with Ms. Jessica who was late to my hair appointment. I had to contact her to inquire where she was for an appointment time I had over a hour before. She informed me she was running behind at that time, however; this should’ve been mentioned before (what should’ve been the start of my appointment). She was very apologetic, but that doesn’t account for the lack of service. I asked for my deposit back and she said it’s non-refundable, which makes no sense if she was late to my appointment. I would really re-consider booking with her, especially if you have things to do and don’t want to be inconvenienced (just as I was).
I was given a specific time in which my hair was supposed to be done. I arrived at 1pm and I was told my hair would only take 3 hours, not only that but the lady who was doing my hair said I only needed 2 packs but later on I needed 2 more packs, So my mother had to go and buy two more packs. My hair was finished at 7, I do not recommend this place at all.
Yea, never returning! I walked in this salon to check it out since I am seeking for hair services soon. However, it was about 5 hair stylists there and I mean all of them looked at me to say NOTHING! It was a very awkward and unprofessional on their behalf experience. Also, just being there for less than 2 minutes I saw uncleanliness. They need to clean up this salon....
