I never write reviews for anything. But this place deserves a review. I’ve been getting my haircut for over 30 years, and never have I received a better haircut! Sal and Steven are both really nice guys and they are very friendly. Mostly, they really know how to give an amazing haircut. They have expertly perfected their craft, and it shows. I have received haircuts in larger cities like Austin, Houston, and all over Michigan…yet none of those were as good as the haircut provided here. Their attention to detail is exquisite, and I was blown away after my first experience. I have since come back many times, and unless something seriously changes here…I will always go here for my haircut as long as they are open. Bravo gentleman! Best haircut anywhere!

This is THEE barber shop! I always leave feeling confident and happy with my cut. Very affordable, down to earth, and relaxed atmosphere.

It’s a good place and the hair cuts are really nice but the only thing is they don’t accept cards only cash. The other they I went and I didn’t have cash with me and I couldn’t get my haircut ????

Oct 2022 Review:

These guys are walk in only which is fine. I had called ahead to ask when their last walk in today would be and the gentleman I spoke to on the phone said 6:30PM. I had left my friend's house in Canton, MI and arrived at 6:15PM. The shop was closed and they had left for the day. I wouldn't have driven 45 minutes to get a haircut if they had told me they would be closing early when I called at 5:30PM. Pretty annoyed with this experience and don't think I'll be making an effort to come back anytime soon.

2021 Review:

First time customer. I walked in and had a short wait (10 minutes or so). Steven was able to get my hair cut exactly the way I wanted off of a photo I showed him. Very pleased with the quality of the cut and price of this barber. Definitely will be a regular here!

Best barber in the Detroit area. Amazing attentional to detail with the most complete service I have received! $10 haircuts but you will feel guilty paying anything less than $15 for the service. The service provided includes beard trims and treatments, hair products, etc. and is all included in the price.

This place is great. I moved to Royal Oak in 13' and went to multiple salons and barber shops, and always felt like I was overpaying for a cut I wasn't happy with. I knew as soon as I walked in to Royal Clips I finally found a place like the shop back home. Steve and Sal are great people, and I trust them both to cut my hair. The prices are lower than any shop around. The quality of cut, and service you get is second to none. I definitely recommend Royal Clips.

The best barbers in the area. Both brothers are great guys and do an amazing job. I’ve been their client for about 5 years now and I’m very satisfied. Not to mention the prices which are the lowest ones in Michigan I would say.
