Never ridden a motorbike before did the introduction to motorbike cost £100 was ment to be an hour I was lucky if it lasted half an hour. The so called training was absolutely shocking give this place a wide birth
Complete rip-off, don’t trust them. Happy to take your money. Better going elsewhere for your training. They are very rude and don’t really care that much on helping you. I would give them a wide birth. I would also recommend anyone to do some research before choosing any bike training school.
Where Route 66 gave up and failed, Cameron Bike Training excelled.
Route 66 claimed I would never ride a geared bike - well today I gained my CBT with Cameron's.
Don't waste your money with them, there are far, far better, more competent instructors out there.
Paid DAS in full and didn't receive my full course, was told constantly there was no test dates so I went elsewhere and got a test date instantly and passed. Still haven't received a refund after sitting no mod2 lessons or tests with Route 66, not very helpful tbh.
Stopped in with Mowgli n I had 2 rolls n sausage and Mowgli had fresh water and there was food there for him if he wanted, Trieda and Tom made us very welcome excellent service n friendly atmosphere

Quick Facts About Route 66 TT Rider Training

Route 66 TT Rider Training has received a mix of positive and negative comments from customers. It is important to consider both the strengths and weaknesses mentioned in order to form a comprehensive assessment of the training place.
One of the main strengths mentioned by customers is the friendly and helpful staff. Multiple comments mention that the team at Route 66 is professional, welcoming, and creates a friendly atmosphere. This positive atmosphere can contribute to a comfortable learning environment for new riders.
Another strength highlighted by customers is the quality of the food and service. Although this may not directly relate to the training provided, it is worth mentioning as it adds to the overall experience for customers and shows that the establishment pays attention to customer satisfaction in other areas.
There are also positive comments about specific instructors, such as Tom, who is described as patient and helpful. Having knowledgeable and patient instructors can greatly enhance the learning experience for new riders, as they can feel supported and guided throughout the training process.
On the other hand, there are several weaknesses mentioned by customers that need to be taken into consideration. One common complaint is that the training duration was shorter than expected. One customer mentioned only receiving half an hour of training when they were promised an hour. This indicates a lack of professionalism and potentially a disregard for customer satisfaction on the part of the training place.
Another significant weakness is the lack of responsiveness and support when it comes to test dates. One customer claimed that they paid in full for the Direct Access Scheme (DAS) but did not receive the full course or any test dates. They had to go elsewhere for a test date and passed without receiving a refund from Route 66. This lack of efficiency and unhelpfulness can significantly impact the overall experience and trustworthiness of the training place.
The negative comments also highlight that Route 66 may not be the best option for motorcycle training. Multiple customers recommend going elsewhere for training and advise doing research before choosing any bike training school. These comments indicate that Route 66 may not have a strong reputation in the industry and may not provide the highest quality of training.
In conclusion, Route 66 TT Rider Training has both strengths and weaknesses based on customer feedback. The positive comments highlight the friendly staff, good food and service, and specific instructors who are helpful and patient. However, the negative comments point out issues such as shorter training durations than promised, lack of responsiveness and support for test dates, and a general recommendation to avoid this training place. It is essential for potential customers to carefully consider these strengths and weaknesses when deciding whether to choose Route 66 for their motorcycle training needs.
