Best place for kids! Shame it was cash only, didn't have food but from the menu and what other had it looked lovely. Play area is amazing and suitable for all ages. I had a 1 year old and 8 year old and both had lots to do and enjoy! Would definitely recommend to families or for couples. Very welcoming place!

My wife and I came this afternoon for food, and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised, the restaurant was quiet just us and 3 others. The food was really good the steak was so tender and the homemade chips & lasagne were beautiful. The log fire was a bonus as its so cold out, really surprised how quiet it was the place is a hidden gem

The food was ok.. ish. Not poor quality, just not everything was as I would have liked it. The staff were amazing and did everything to make us comfortable. Watch out for the mixed grill...it's huge..be hungry, very hungry. I will go back.

If anybody likes the rock and fountain in Aberdulais, before today I did too!

My lamb shank arrived 10 minutes after my family's. That was a bit whatever. Sliced into it and it was a still frozen! I waited around 10 minutes by the bar for the waiter. Finally found him, Told him Okay he will take it back and It'll be sorted. Comes back and says I can't have mash cause there's none left and they're making a new one. My family had almost finished at this point. I said OK chips. But I'll have a cheese and brocoli bake since its quicker to cook. OK no problem. 20 minutes goes by, no food. I ask him to put it to go, cause what's the point at this point my family finished ages ago. OK no worries. 10 minutes later I get them in Chinese containers. We stood at the bar for 10 minutes waiting for the bar staff to take our money. I ask if I can have atleast 50% off since I couldn't even eat with my family. The chef says sorry only a pound off. I left the food there and didn't pay. What absolute awful service and food. Thought it was fantastic before. Not anymore ????????

38 mins for the food to arrive. Food was hard or cold. Entire place was colder inside than out and the waiter was red faced with spots all over his face (possibly chicken pox), wearing Gregg merchandise hoodie.

Helpful staff and a lovely meal. Range of good old pub grub. What's more to want.
