It's a nice clean place to visit it seems as though they take very good care of the picnic area's and down by the river seems to be always clean no garbage laying around and the people that go there are always pleasant.
Clean and in a nice location. My son and I had time between appointments so we stopped down here. He played on the well maintained playground, I sat on a bench and read then we walked the paths and then skipped rocks on the river. Plenty of benches and picnic tables throughout.
Riverside Park in Tunkhannock Pennsylvania is a small Park that is located next to the river. This park has boat river access, and a large beach area. It also has biking and walking trails that are paved. Some of this park is in poor repair, but the playground for the kids is in great working order! There are no public restrooms, only porta johns.
Simple park but has a paved walking trail, pavillion, and playground equipment. Park is clean and well maintained. Lovey views of the Susquehanna River.
Lovely park you could either be around people or go off and have just a lovely day by the river very quiet does have potholes but it’s a really great park
Clean and quiet, place to go just sit an watch the water or drive rite down an go fishing, kayak, or take the boat out. The park areas have pavilions an playgrounds. They have a porta potty an all. You might even get to see a train go by. I like the fact I can park my car anywhere and walk short distant to get to my desired spot. When I say short distance I mean like I can park an walk 10 feet an dip my feet in the water. No hills to climbs and weeds to walk through. It's nice place.
Nice park. Needs some $$$ and attention.
Nice little park that's right in town but tucked away Me, the wife and the kids went together this weekend to fish had a lot of fun
