Spectacular place!!! Great food, great people, great atmosphere! If you are in town, I highly recommend stopping by! They are super quick and really nice. You can drive through if in a rush, or dine in. Love their BBQ sauces as well. Hot sauce is just right ????.
Really good stuff. Ribs are fall of the bone tender. Homefries aren't exactly what I expected but pretty decent. Couldn't decide which sauce I liked more! Great menu selection and the cheesesticks are probably boxed but still cooked well. Kind of a slow time of the day but the service was great and atmosphere was chill.
We were on our way home from a Hockey tournament in Huntsville, and stumbled upon this gem! Living close to Memphis, we thought we knew what good bbq ribs were….let me just say, these ribs were the best ribs we have ever had! The service was spot on and everyone was so nice. Clean and top notch. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about our dine in experience. We WILL be back!
First off the waitress was great! This was my first time to try this restaurant based on recommendations. I ordered the pulled pork plate and my husband got the half smoked chicken and an order of cheese sticks. I liked trying the 3 different sauces at the table, none were bad, I preferred the original. Cheese sticks were ok, my pulled pork was delicious without any sauce at all and I love home fries. My poor husband on the other hand had over cooked dry as a bone chicken. Only thing he really got that he liked was the onion rings.
If u want smoked wings do not come here! I ate the whole plate and did not taste any smoke! They smoke in morning which is fine with me but then when u order they cook in grease! Takes the whole point of reason I ordered them I wanted smoked wings! On the other hand good job on the original and sweet bbq sauce, this gained them my 3 stars at this point in meal unsure if I will ever back! I came back and edited my review they lost a star, my receipt even says smoked wings!! Once on menu, once on receipt!
Great food, great staff, great prices! I love the BBQ sandwich with baked beans.
The Rib Shack is outstanding..It's a good old fashioned Rib/ BBq restaurant..Price was reasonable and the service was good...The desserts are homemade and very good..
When you have no competition this is what you get. Here on a visit, this was recommended as a great place. NOT even close.
I try not to point out a individual issue, more of the total experience because everyone has bad days.
#1- I ask for lean brisket, got meat with about 40% fat.
#2-Got the ribs on advice from the waitress, bad choice.
They were so hard and dry.
I hit it with a fork and it sound like I hit wood.
Could hardly chew it. So tough. Try to use a knife, not much better. Using a steak knife also barely helped.
#3- The side of beans an potato salad came in a container the size of a Dixie cup, maybe 4oz., about what kids meal gets.
When I told the waitress her response was, " yeah sometimes they leave them out and the get dry and hard. I'll let them know". I only took three bites and gave up.
But no replacement food, no apologies, no discount.
Around $25 for a barely edible meal.
How can the parking lot be full. Oh I forgot, not many options in the area
