Gary is so knowledgeable about Chelsea. I moved here 9 years ago and I love to learn more about my adopted city. Oh, and a great haircut as well

Everything you want in a barber shop! Did a fantastic job with my haircut. They are efficient without being rushed. Extremely friendly and welcoming. I for sure will be going back. Been back a few times now. Still as great as before.

Gary and his staff (Sue, Sandy, Curtis, Rebecca) are incredibly friendly, professional, and all do a great job. I've had my hair and my son's hair cut by all of them and have never left disappointed. If you want to know the latest news around town, especially high school sports, stop into Gary's. Get there before they open on Saturdays or you'll have a bit of a wait!

Gary's is the quintessential example of the original small town Barber shop, where along with a great haircut, you get all the news in town. 3 chairs all filled with excellent barbers including the owner Gary on Saturdays. There may be a bit of a wait since there is a good clientele. If you're not in a hurry this is a great place to stop. The history on the walls is unique to the rich past of Chelsea Michigan and you will hear some great stories about them if you ask.

Whether you're a first timer or an old friend, Gary greets you with a warm smile and makes you feel at home. He and his team are all excellent barbers too, so you'll get a great cut at a good price. He also opens early to help people get in with their day. I like that.
