Went here after what we’ll call a sub-par hair cut at a chain establishment. The staff was super friendly and is receptive of walk-ins (would however recommend a reservation). I’ll be a regular customer and would highly recommend.

I walk in shop, it was two barbers there, I stood in the center of the floor, waiting for someone to acknowledge me, but they act like I didn't exist. I finally asked one of the barbers if he was a barber. I spoke to the other barber, he acted like he didn't have a mouth. The black people that are from ,the Lake Norman area are prejudice against their own people. So sad! Good customer service we take you a long way. They treat you worst then white people.

Ron and team are the the best. You'll get the best haircut from old school professional barbers plus the price is reasonable and you'll get the latest sports talk.

Excellent haircut and well worth the wait. Great prices and great barbers. At first look, it seems cramped and small, but it adds to the old school feel and atmosphere in a well placed location.

Good prices. Excellent entertainment from The barbers and the other customers. A fun place to go. Just like the old time barber shops. Ron, one of the co-owners, probably gave me the best haircut I've had in years!

I used to go here frequently but have gradually become fed up with the job they do They have repeatedly cut my hair shorter than what I ask for, and it's gotten worse every time. My haircut today was the last straw. I asked for there to be 1.5 inches left on top and 0.5 inches on the sides and back. He just buzzed my entire head. There's just a millimeter of hair left. Worst thing is, he didn't confess to the obvious mistake both he and I knew of. Don't get me wrong, these guys are nice and are very serviceable and friendly. They also make their shop have a very unique and pleasant atmosphere, which is great and all. But if you're getting a haircut you're getting it for your hair, and Raeford's has not been a good option for me and my hair at all, and it has only gotten worse and worse in quality cuts over the past three years. So now I'm calling it quits.

Also, it's waaaayyyy overpriced when you compare the price of this low quality service compared to cheaper, and much better, alternative competitor hair cut shops in the area. I payed $16 for a buzz cut, and it wasn't even what I wanted!

Mr. Raeford was very friendly and did a great job making my shy 7-year-old feel comfortable. My son's haircut turned out perfect, and the prices are beyond reasonable. We'll definitely be back and I'm sending my husband next.
