Wir waren kurzfristig auf der Suche nach einem Quartier während unseres Roadtrips. Dabei sind wir auf das PyneArms gestoßen - kurzerhand dort angerufen und ein Zimmer respektive einen Tisch für's Abendessen unkompliziert reserviert. Dort angekommen konnten wir es kaum glauben wie unfassbar cool und toll diese B&B ist - die Zimmer komplett neu renoviert, modernster Standard, super bequemes Bett und eine super moderne Dusche. Auch das Abendessen im Pub und das Frühstück am nächsten Morgen war einfach nur der Hammer. Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen dort hin zu fahren. Wir kommen - sofern sich bald mal wieder ein Roadtrip durch Südengland ausgeht - bestimmt wieder!!!

We spent our wedding anniversary there and it was perfect, quiet and personal while still enjoying the busyness of a little, but well loved pub.

Food was beautifully seasoned, flavours that complimented each other.

Service knew all about the drinks and food, very attentive but not intrusive.

I highly recommend this place.

We go out a lot, but this has to be our absolute favorite. Always a friendly welcome, attentive staff and fantastic food. Portions are good and we feel reasonably priced for the quality. Would recommend to anyone although would love to keep it a secret!

Great food but well overpriced and very small portions. Ive had better food for less than half the price. Shame as the atmosphere was nice but the bill for 4 people was over £160 for 2 starters, 4 standard meals with very small portions (see pics), no desserts and maybe 2 drinks each. Won't go back.

I left hungry with an empty stomach and wallet.

Fantastic meal, it was like experiencing MasterChef!

Warm welcome especially when told them we forgot purse and wallet, a member of staff even offered to pay.....well worth a visit!

First things first and just so we're clear.

A few micro herbs sprinkled on dishes does NOT, in my opinion, make anywhere a "Gastropub".

Thought I'd get that off my chest.

The Pyne Arms is a very ordinary but perfectly pleasant country pub serving perfectly average pub food. It's not exceptional. Some of it is good; (the scotch egg, for instance), some of it is not so good; (the "crispy chilli beef"), and on the night I visited , it was ALL very under seasonsed. Which is such a shame because it's one of the simplest things to fix, so please fix it.

The stars of the show are the staff. We received a very warm and genuine welcome and the service was friendly and efficient.
