The new booking system makes it super convenient to come it and get out without waiting long periods of time. Tell does an amazing job on my sons haircuts and make sure they are treated like young men. Highly recommended!!!

I'm from California. As my friends best man, I brought both of us here to get a couple of cuts right before the wedding. First off I'd like to say that all these guys are some of the nicest people you'll come across. Where I'm from you typically have to make an appointment with a barber days (sometimes weeks) in advance and there's no guarantee that your cut will be good. At Platinum I asked how it worked and they let us know that we just had to sit and wait for someone to be available. Awesome! In 10 minutes we were both in the chair. Now my friend (half Filipino half white) hates getting his haircut, but even he had to admit that he looked sharp as hell. My cut was just as good! The guy (wish I could remember his name) gave me exactly what I asked for and frankly, I'm sad that this place is 3000 miles away from me now. HIGHLY reccomend this place to anyone!
The stylist didn’t even carefully listened to me carefully and started cutting my hair; he was just talking to his mate the whole time. My friend got a haircut right before I did, and I told him I just wanted it a little bit short. This guy gave me almost a buzz cut; my hair is really short now. He also trimmed off my facial hair without asking me so I had to shave off my whole face when I went home. I could have gone to great clips and gotten a better haircut for half the price. Would really not advice going to this place.
I am rating this particular barbering experience two (2) out of five (5) stars based on professionalism, lack of concern for client's time, and distance. I initially booked my appointment via Facebook, where I was very detailed about what I was looking for and the time that I needed have my cut finished. Remarkably after talking with Trelle, he informed me that he does not book appointments on Fridays but that if I came at 2 p.m. I am good to sit in his chair by 2:30 p.m. I traveled from NE Roanoke to the shop and got there around 1:50 p.m. only to find to my surprise that he had five (5) other guys waiting on him as well. I eventually took my business elsewhere as I stated to him and his manager that I am not waiting like the gentleman beside me who stated he had been waiting for an hour and a half. This experience was not at all what I was expecting.
I was in Roanoke for a meeting and the hotel employee told me about this shop. This is the Best Barber Shop ( Bar None ) and it was so clean that I knew that I was in the right place. The barber that cut my hair was very professional and informative about the city and the shop ( New York Gaint Fan ). If you are ever in the area, it’s a must place to go !!!!!!! Thank God that we still have Great businesses around........ May God bless this World ???????????????????????????????????????????????????????? and POWER to the people ✌????
The atmosphere as soon as I walked in was unfriendly which wasn't necessarily a big deal, staring at heads all day would get to me too. I sat down in the waiting area and none of the employees or the owner even spoke to me or looked my way, seeing as they were busy I didn't even mind. What got to me was as I waited patiently for 20 to 30 mins for a cut, 2 other people walked in a few minutes after me. Turns out one was one of the employees son and the other was someone's father. They were both given cuts before me, a paying customer! I was a little irritated at that point but didn't make a deal, but that wasn't the worst of it. After they started on both of their family members haircuts, the owners first words ever to me was that they " were going on a lunch break for an hour" and I had to come back later!? Why did you have me sitting there for 30 mins only to be skipped by 2 people and kicked out ? These guys don't care about their costumers or their time.
This was my first and last time ever at a barbershop.
