Quick Facts About PDG's Eatery

PDG's Eatery place has several strengths that make it a great option for diners. Firstly, the restaurant is described as a small and quaint little diner. This gives it a cozy and intimate ambiance that many people appreciate. With only a few tables for sitting in, customers can enjoy a more personalized and attentive dining experience.
One of the standout strengths of PDG's is its staff. Multiple reviewers mention the staff as being super friendly, helpful, and always smiling. This contributes to a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere for diners. Additionally, the service is described as quick and efficient, with minimal wait times for food. This is a great advantage for those looking for a fast and satisfying meal.
The food at PDG's is consistently praised for being delicious. Reviewers commend the quality and taste of the meals. This positive feedback suggests that PDG's offers a menu that satisfies the taste buds of its customers. Furthermore, multiple comments mention the excellent prices at PDG's. The affordability of the food is seen as a significant advantage and may contribute to its popularity among diners.
Another positive aspect of PDG's is the availability of takeout options. Several comments highlight the convenience of being able to order food to go. This is particularly beneficial for customers who are in a hurry or prefer to enjoy their meal elsewhere.
However, there are also some weaknesses that should be addressed. One common complaint is the issue of parking. PDG's is located on a one-way street that often gets packed, making it difficult for customers to find parking. This inconvenience may deter potential customers from visiting the eatery.
Accessibility is another concern mentioned in the comments. One reviewer suggests that a wheelchair may find it difficult to maneuver in the restaurant. This is a significant weakness that should be addressed to ensure that PDG's is inclusive and accessible to all customers.
Furthermore, the cash-only policy is seen as inconvenient by some customers. With the increasing use of card payments, having to find a cash machine in a dodgy area may discourage potential diners who prefer to pay with plastic. Implementing card payment options could expand the customer base and improve the overall dining experience.
There are also a few negative reviews regarding certain aspects of the food. One comment mentions that the chef occasionally fails to deliver on quality, resulting in overcooked bacon, unmelted cheese, and soggy toast. Ensuring consistency in food preparation is essential to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Lastly, one reviewer had a negative experience with a waitress who made them feel embarrassed over a simple request for a cup of Earl Grey tea. Over chattiness from the staff is also mentioned as a drawback by one customer. These issues highlight the importance of maintaining professionalism and respecting individual preferences during interactions with customers.
In summary, PDG's Eatery place has several strengths, including its cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty food, great prices, and takeout options. However, there are also weaknesses, such as parking issues, limited accessibility, cash-only policy, potential inconsistencies in food quality, and negative customer experiences with certain staff members. Addressing these weaknesses could help PDG's further improve its overall dining experience and attract a wider customer base.

Best PlaceJuice Reviews

It's a small, quaint little dinner. A few tables for sitting in if you desire. The staff are super friendly and helpful and always smiling. Service is quick and the wait for food is not long at all. Take away also available. Food is absolutely delicious. Prices are very very good aswell. Parking can be an issue as its on a 1 way street that gets packed but if you ignore that little fact you will absolutely love PDG's. I come here when ever I'm down that end of St.Helens. Best place for a breakfast butty ????????????
Friendly staff, tasty food and great prices
Really lovely breakfast. Staff very friendly. Very Clean. Great cup of tea.
Hard to park ,busy street.
A wheelchair may find it difficult to manoeuvre. Cash only.
Firstly made to feel embarrassed when asking for a cup of Earl Grey tea with my breakfast.
You'd swear I'd asked for the crown jewels instead of a cup of tea, with the over chatty fuss that the waitress made about it as to whether it was in stock, infront of sneering customers.
Over chatty is the key words here, i prefer to sit and eat in relative peace, when i go to an eatery, not hear someone banging on to all in sundry like an old apple seller.
Also the place is cash only, which means having to use a cash machine in a dodgy area, which to me is inconvenient because i only use plastic.
The breakfast is average, but if all you're bothered about is cheap nosh, then this is the place for you. Personally, I'll stick to Morrisons cafe just around the corner from now on.
Really good food when chef van be bothered but w days now and over cooked bacon and not melted cheese and soggy toast
Came in today for the soup and roll to takeaway it was pea and ham soup it's homemade and honestly best soup I ever had.
